Thanks for another great video. I keep my little fingers lightly resting on the Ab and Db keys all the time, I find it helps to balance the clarinet. I do the same thing on sax. I also started using a sling, which really helps.

I find this video extremely usefull (i was only able to watch it now- will try it tomorrow). I try to put my pinkies to the keys, but however I sometimes forget. SO those exercises to train it are really useful!!

@@callyclarinet it is a great exercise, however I was somewhat puzzled with the left and right. It would be good if the left and right is marked in the pdf (sometimes). I really had to slow down the video in order to see your fingers very clear (at speed 0.25!). An then I saw you had that extra key, which I didn't have. So now everything is clear to practise it.

Hi Cally, this video is very timely for me as I'm starting to practice the Albert A flat scale exercises this week. They are definitely more challenging than the ones I've done before! My question: to I need to slide between keys to perform any of them? The fourth one on the page in particular, I can't figure out any alternative to sliding between E flat and C with the right pinky then E flat to D on the next line.

Yes, you will have to do some sliding in the Ab Albert scale page. Great question!
