if you're gonna do that it should be an optional thing , fifa has that and its the worst part about carrer mode because you cant turn it off on console
I think what retro bowl needs is a game mode that is harder then hard mode but isn’t like impossible where every team has a 5 star offense and defense, like I want a mode where I can easily trash the bad teams but they can still maybe sneak a win but where when I play a 11-0 team I don’t just easily beat them.
I do this myself by limiting myself. If I play a good team I pretend everyone is getting locked down and except one player. So if I pick WR1 I'll only target him in the pass game. Hardest thing is when I pick TE1 as my only target because those are so slow if you play a 5* defense you'll get sacked by time the TE gets open on most intermediate to deep routes.
Impossible isnt even impossible, its painfully boring to play which is why i dont like playing it. It also ruins the special matchups (for me i went agaisnt the 49ers in normal and they had 5 star off and deff). It felt special to beat them
Yes cause i basically just have to limit my own roster and still can go undefeated. Impossible is boring once you realize you literally play the exact same team every game. One suggestion should be just make dynamic max harder. On dynamic 16, the max it goes up to, i once one the super bowl 43-0
A few things on my wishlist: • Defense: not sure how this would work, but at least allow us to pick the play to see how are players play on the other side of the ball. • If you tag a player for the hall of fame and then go to another team, we should still see these players around. Maybe we can trade for them, or see them torch us in a head to head match up. • It’d be cool if you could port players from college to pro for a draft class. Not sure how that’d work, but it add more replay ability to both games. • Give us league records and team records. Also, when a player breaks one of those records let us know in game. We could also receive a coin when the record is broken. • incentivize playing vs simming. If I get two to three coins for playing the entire game, I’m more likely to play than sim. • Distinguish between player hall of fame and league hall of fame. Player cards in our hall should show what records they hold and if they’re in the league hall of fame.
I would settle if on Extreme mode if they made it so the defensive back never played 10 yards off of the line of scrimmage. I understand them having that for beginners, but that's an easy 10 yards for me.
9:55 in addition i would love to see them add numbers to the players even if u cant see them on the field it would be cool to see them when ur looking at the player card
I love retro bowl, I won’t ever get bored of it, because you gotta have the mindset you gotta make ur own scenes like it ain’t that hard but yes we need more good updates
@@imgrego exactly, I understand your part of it and I would agree, I’ve been thinking about doing retro bowl content but I haven’t decided on what platform I wanna do it on, but grego, I noticed you like sports games but have u tried Bitlife, it’s an adult simulation game and it’s pretty fun, I love the content you post no matter what ur in my top 5 favorite creators
there's things that just completely snap ur immersion tho. I should not be able to draft a 1 star quarterback and he somehow manages to win 10-15 MVPs every single time. it's so annoying. getting too much rings is an easy fix (never update ur salary cap and boom it becomes 10x harder), but the mvps are really a killer.
Unfortunately since the retro bowl success new star games expanded their game library, at first it was ok because they gave us a college game but now they are focused on other games and both retro bowl games have been left behind with a update every few months now😞🤧
RBC needs: - championship history, it doesn’t need to include the previous historical winners, just the winners from that save - A realignment feature, I get you can just rename teams but it would be dope if you could actually move them around, add a custom team to a conference, or an fcs team get promoted to Fbs - to be able to sim games - smart scheduling, rivalry weekend on the very last regular season game, or scheduling rivals from real life, for example, Iowa vs ISU, Florida vs fsu, WVU and Pitt, CU and Nebraska are all non conference rivalries that the game should recognize and schedule most years.

It feels like I score exactly 32 points in pretty much every other game I play (Extreme 2 min quarters) I almost always go for two and the game just feels too easy

I hope They Add Diffrent Playoff Modes Like If you wanna do the 12 Team playoff 4 team or the BCS Championsip mode with exhibiton and you being able to control conference realignment
Since the update, I haven't been able to finish a game of Retro Bowl College without the app crashing on me. Before this update, it only crashed on me like two or three times ever, over hundreds of seasons played. The original Retro Bowl crashed on me fairly regularly, but not College, so this is especially disappointing, and I hope it gets fixed soon.
I would really like it if you can have a tab where you can see stat leaders throughout the season i would like to see how my recivers compare to others in the league
Bruh GPA is so annoying sometimes. Usually it isn’t an issue, but I remember having one save where six players got suspended and I ran out of cc trying to get their GPAs up
I have 3 things that i think would be a cool update. 1 is that to make it online. And 2 is something i think would make you play BOTH retro games. If the company were able to connect college and nfl to make it where you can draft players from your college team to your nfl team. For example you’re a coach for georgia. Contact a nfl coach to draft him and in retro bowl draft the player. And 3 is to make a NEW retro bowl game called retro franchise. Where your can only play as one player but multiple choices. Like wr qb rb and players on defense. Control them by adding a joystick to move the players around.
We need a lot more than you mentioned. Full offensive playbook would be a good start. Then they need to add defensive playability, preferably with a playbook as well.

They should add on retro college football where you can go see your players stats in the league and see how they pin out and go see how good they doing !
I’ve tried my best to make RBC a little more fun by using my Notes app to create all the teams and rosters. It’s coming good tg so far. Buts its going to take me like 3 weeks to create all the rosters. Maybe some suggestions for fake players?
you should be able to scramble with the qb it wouldn’t be that crazy as you can already move up down with ball carriers past the line of scrimmage so you should be able to throw at ANY time before the line of scrimmage which would go crazy
They could make the mobile versions to be able to move like you can on the switch version. And that could be a way to add defense with the movement type
There should be an update where if the defense is good enough they will force a safety on the other team. Safeties are possible in this game but are very rare.
We need a update on both games where you can make your roster and publish it so other people can download it to there game. That would make the games easier to make content with.
You should be able to kick a field goal from anywhere, I pay my kicker way too much and it sucks that I can’t attempt an 80 yard bomb when I have 10mph tailwind
I play Hoop Land way more just like many people and I think New Star Games should sell or hand over game making to a better company that can bring bigger updates more frequently then everyone 1.5-2 years

Ive always wanted the defense to have some random star players. Glad they added it to exhibition but this needs to be in the regular franchise. I love all the dilemmas in college football, some more dilemmas in normal retro bowl would be dope

I get the new recruiting update for RBC, but why do I, as THE Ohio State, only have 2 star recruits available? I've won two natties with them and only two stars wanna come here? That doesn't seem right
They won’t new star devs suck and “it’s on the todo list” but the “todo list” is just filled with new games they’ll eventually forget about and stop updating

I love both retro bowl and retro bowl college but I think right now legend bowl and their college game are just better. Having said that I want retro bowl to get better
