After watching this video, and some other stuff, I'm getting more excited to attend UCSB this fall! and thank you so much for talking about classes and the 13 unit fall limit, I genuinely didn't know about that

I'd say a good mix of summer clothes with a few sweaters. it didn't get too cold until winter quarter. the days are decently warm but the nights can get pretty chilly!
Hey, I have a quick question about choosing courses. When does that whole process start and how does it work because it seems to be different at every university? (Thanks in advance!)
we're given pass times when we're able to register for courses for the upcoming quarter. if you're an incoming freshman, you get to do this at orientation with people to guide you!
Is Economics/Accounting major at UCSB really that competitive and difficult? Like in what way? Coincidentally, I'm trying to transfer into that same exact major : )
the classes are based on a curve! I believe only the top 8% of the class will receive an A so you're basically competing against your peers for a grade
ShiGuy333 I’d say it’s pretty competitive, the acceptance rate is around 32%. I also have a few out of state friends here so it’s definitely possible and worth a try applying if you really like the school (:
