Nissan and Honda, reliable car brands we support in our family for years. My son has been driving his first car - a Magnite ❤ and we are comfortable he has a safe and reliable vehicle to use through Uni and until he is ready to purchase his own.

I test drove one just after it came on the market and I found it enjoyable to drive. Light and agile. My wife found the interior too plasticky and wanted it to be a big higher for an SUV

I wanted to buy Ecosport titanium... but with this Magnite I am beginning to have a rethink. Reasons are it's cheaper and has got the LED headlights..

It is definitely a good option to look at!

It's too expensive that one. I changed my mind too after being approved for same ecoboost Titanium, fiesta though. I tested this baby today. I must say I'm very convinced on buying it

Buying a new car and it’s between the Honda WR-V and the Nissan Magnite. The entry level Magnite meets all my needs, except for the halogen lights.

I think that both will fit your needs, ultimately coming down to your personal preference.

I went to test drive the Magnite (top spec model) and what a disappointment. The 1.0T engine and the surprisingly quiet CVT gearbox, was a pleasant surprise but was overshadowed by how cheap this vehicle is put together. Yes, these days you find plastic in every new vehicle, including vehicles from brands such as Audi, but Nissan really used the cheapest plastic they could find. The material on the seats has no stitching, it’s basically sponge that was wrapped in material. Rattles like you won’t believe and the mags look plastic. I enquired about the price of a service when the service plan ends (30000km/ 3years) and I was simply told they can’t predict the future and to take an extended service plan…meaning it can get expensive. The Magnite has a cambelt and on my Micra that was a very expensive service a few years ago. The technology in the vehicle is nice, except the screen is very unclear and fitting everything into the screen doesn’t work. I couldn’t use the cameras to get myself out of a tight parking spot and ended up using the mirror instead. This is not a Nissan, it’s a Datsun and feels like an expensive Kwid.

Perhaps you can upgrade a model or 2. The upgrades you get are well worth it. Also yeah, the interior look rather cheap and plasticky. It could've done a lot better with some premium finish here and there but it's almost entirely plastic.

@@Kiepie009 reasonable points. But the pricing is also worth noting. I feel this car is for people like me who want to drive suv look-alike but financially constrained.
@Kiepie009
@Kiepie009 2 года назад
@@Fran_Tluanga when I bought my car, I basically had 3 choices, the Nissan, Honda WRV an Suzuki Brezza. The Honda(top spec) and Suzuki were cheaper than the Nissan, both come with a 4year / 60 000km service plan and service intervals of every 15000km, whereas the Nissan only comes with a 3year / 30 000km service plan and needs to be serviced every 10 000km. When I asked about the cost of service I was told to rather take an extended service plan. It might be cheaper if you buy the entry level or model just above the entry level, but when taking into account services and cost of parts, the Nissan is not easy on the budget.

Hi Vishal, I bought Nissan Magnite CVT Turbo Premium on 27th Sep 2022. My height is quite less(5.5) but I am comrotable with the car. You can increase the height, you can push the seat a bit front or back. Leg Space is good one. Let me know if you would want to know anything more
