Excellent presentation and narration. Your video is very informative and highlites key data on all aspects of the car i.e. engine capacity and performance, safety and key tech. Most importantly, it provides comparative stats from competitors which greatly helps the viewer in making an informed choice. The side by side comparison with pictures and figures where applicable is excellent. I searched for more of your videos but could not find much. You need to do more of these. This is the kind of production we need to see on RU-vid and not the current sub-standard videos which crowd the space. Great work!

Most car reviews are too technical with information most of us ladies consider unnecessary; 'it can go from 0-100 in 1.5 seconds' and all the ladies roll their eyes. This review struck such a good balance between technicalities, to scratch the male itch, and the aesthetics that get us women all googly eyed. I hope Nissan payed you well for this. I got my nissan magnite cvt 1 week ago. Enjoying the smooth drive comfort and 360 camera . Steering is not light and while taking U turn you have to Put little effort to undo the steering wheel.I own honda city cvt ( 1 year old) also.
Is the magnite in anyway similar to Renault Kwid? The two cars are kinda similar and I want the magnite but I don’t want another kwid situation. Please help with comparison
Renault Kwid is not built on the same platform as the Nissan Magnite. Although Nissan and Renault share platforms the equal in the Renault family is the Kiger. The Kwid is a smaller cheaper alternative and not really comparable. If those are your two choices it would have to be Nissan Magnite.
Never drove the Venue but did not like the cheap interior that seemed to have gone back in time. Nissan Magnite Asenta Plus CVT, mine is Red and gorgeous.
Useless video, Nothing that is not already in their brochure. I would have liked to know, what is the quality of the components, how good is the plastic used, how long they last or get scratched easily, is turbo really good on a 1.0 engine - will it last with all that raving up? What does the car do on an steep incline or when you have to overtake on a highway!
I'm sorry you didn't find the video informative. If you noticed the description about the video, this project was completed for Nissan South Africa to introduce the Magnite to their sales staff. The intention of the video is not a hard-hitting independent review, but rather some highlights that the car brings to the market place. The reason the video is on my You Tube channel is that this is to illustrate to potential clients just some of the examples of the work I do. But I'll attempt to answer some of your questions. The car industry in South Africa is very competitive and as a result there really are no sub standard cars in the market (They simply would not sell any). This car falls into the small cross-over segment which is heavily represented by many manufacturers. This is a new offering and offers some unique features (watch the video again). Many manufacturers are turning to small turbo engines. Their small capacity is offset by a turbo which in turn offers sprightly performance. However if they are driven hard they are not as fuel efficient. Also, modern turbos have come a long way in terms of development and are no longer as problematic as they were 10-15 years ago. This little motor in the Magnite is more than sufficient, keeping in mind that its no sports car. Stick to the speed limit (or thereabouts) and any motorist will be more than satisfied. The plastics are harder but are on par with other manufacturers in this price-point end of the market. Hill-hold is offered so you don't need to master the handbrake. Hope this helps.
