Many people have advised against consuming creatine due to water retention, but this view is misguided. Creatine supplementation does increase total body water but does NOT alter fluid distribution. In this video I break down why water retention from creatine is a GOOD thing. I also address supplement companies who claim that their creatine doesn't cause water retention (LOL).
