Been enjoying reading peoples different opinions on their pain points with D2. Just wanted to clear up that this video isn't meant to be my idea of saving the game or anything. Just small things that I think would be neet in the hypothetical world where old activities got a bit of a face lift. I would also like to that I'm not here to tell Bungie how to do their job nor do I want to, I just think idea dumps are healthy for a games community and get people talking. My inspiration for this video was this other creator who's name I unfortunately forgot. He basically created his own version of D2 with a revamped loot structure and everything. I found it really cool.
Oh trust me lost sectors are extremely inconsistent. One moment I’m clearing something in less than 6 mins and another moment I’m reaching my boiling point and stopping for the day. Don’t even get me started on the sorry difficulty excuse of champions
@@Kerbos76 I just think champions are so inconsistent and kind of force loadouts. Scorn I can handle cabal and taken I can get it done. vex shaky but fine. Fallen is like pulling teeth especially the servitors.
Ohhh the shadow keep story mission... It really felt like just a paid version of the adventure quests Bungie sunset, it was just kinda "Alright what am I fighting next". But the last campaign mission where you enter the pyramid, was the genuinely coolest part. Like it has the uniqueness of a dungeon of how you're fighting things, and also drops some great voice lines, and just screenshot worthy environments. I feel like if they just made a version where everything was harder to kill, make you kill the nightmare boss, then drop some fire loot it would make the moon a little more visited.
I dont get why sorrows harbor hasnt got an upgrade to the loot there or changed or anything. Im there alot testing lvling catalyst's etc. Theres always people there and the rewards just get sharded everytime.
@@Kerbos76 Yea i get that but why complain about empire hunts when you don’t have to do them? at that point it’s like saying cool i got the thing now delete it so no one else can get that thing. I’m not trying to start an argument or anything i was just pointing something out via this reply.
@@Kerbos76 Yea and that makes sense. i can see why you view empire hunts as basically useless i can agree with that. i recently got beyond light and i thought empire hunts were an actual activity like strikes… i am very disappointed especially because the bosses are barely even bosses like just use xenophage against them and you’ll see what i mean
The Shattered Throne is not out dated. And to suggest that is HERESY. The bad guy you're thinking of in the weekly DC missions is called the Odynom. He's a hidden Taken Captain that jumps you if you disturb him. Something that needs to come back is the Forsaken campaign with parts of the Tangled Shore. It's such an awesome environment and the Forsaken Campaign is hand over fist Destiny's strongest campaign. With a slight revamp it would make DC and TS super relevant again. Blind Well should definitely get an update. If you scale the difficulty to the Charge of Light tiers it could definitely be an Ascendant Alloy source as well as the weekly weapon rotation you suggested. Same thing with Nightmare Hunts. The Ascendant challenges also should be scaled and receive a reward change. They're awesome content that's been forgotten about.
How about the Destiny franchise as a whole is outdated and just needs to die already...seriously Bungie can care less about their player base and yet the hypocrites and sycophants continue to buy into Bungie's blatant betrayal and shady business practices.
0:35 That’s not a hot take. It's just dumb. Prior expansions are a rip off because bungie removed all their content, not because they’re outdated expansions. If that content were still here, quests, destinations, strikes, pvp maps, they’d be worth playing. Edit: also, which queen is overrated. The only good thing it gave us was the legendary campaign. Every other expansion had more to offer for the core game, like more quests, pvp maps, and strikes. Forsaken actually gave us exotic weapons that dropped from the world.
ya my point was more that the expansions in their current state would be more worth it if the content was updated. I agree tho I'd love the old stuff back
