"Let's Talk Trash" Webinar with The Pomona Chamber of Commerce 

Im a small business owner in Pomona. In May and June my bill was $57/month from Valle Vista services. I dont produce much trash. Athens increased the bill to $198/month and told me thats the cheapest they offer. An almost 4 fold increase in my bill. That doesn’t feel fair at all. They had promised as part of the bid offer “Athens would also consolidate multi-family and commercial services into one, providing “comparable or better than current rates,” according to a report prepared by city staff.” Athens tells me there is no opt out option for “no services” and I hope we get this corrected. There should been some protection built into the contract to make no body would face a triple or quadruple increase in their bill…

We are a small business in Pomona. Out monthly bill with Valley Vista was $92. With Athens, it is now $350. That is more than triple! Why? Back in 2022, we were told it was going to be "comparable or better than current rates" That turned out to be false. Thanks, Pomona.

Small Business owner that just got a 300% PRICE INCREASE from Athens!! 88.00 through Valle Vista versus $370.00 from Athens. There is no justification for this outrageous price increase. Another nail in the coffin of small business.

Do you guys have a customer service number that we can call in case you have any issues with street sweeping or trash pick up?

Athena is ripping off!!!!! city of Pomona use to charge 66 for solid waste. Now i get charged monthly 77 x 2 = 154 and still get a 25$ charge from COP.
