So practicable Sorin , that tester seems very worth while , as it appears to show more then any others i have or have seen to-date; Regarding tweezers i looked into the Demount (very highly priced but High procession , Swiss Made stainless steel ) Tweezers , but some how ending up getting a good set of VETUS Tweezers from Ali express at a 3rd of the cost , they claim to be of Switzerland Standard , and in my opinion they meet that standard , they are very Fine and precise with a long reach, and at those prices there more then worth a try , i have the SS-JP, SS-SA, and the ST-11 , they can be reshaped and even trimmed quite simply too, there are other bent shaped ones like the Vetus -ESD-15 which are quite strong and sturdy ....Regarding Screw Drivers ill be looking at your comments for recommendations as they all seem to let us down eventually !!! So funny reusing the same chip , revealing what you did wrong , then correcting it , Genus ...I Love you Man....

This tester is from Europe and has an official website :tristartester.com/en/ , the price is 153.51e plus the cost of shipping , and Jessa from iPad rehab has this tester from the official europe website. It is better to buy directly from the official European website then the duty will not be paid , if someone lives in Europe.

To your question about screw drivers, they are pricey but I bought a set of iFixit drivers and have had them for about 2 years with no problem.

In my own opinion best precision screwdrivers are WIHA

Trisratester showed FAIL on PP_SOC short circuit in iPhone 6s. Sometimes it gets it wrong, but it's a good device.

Best screwdrivers are Wiha PicoFinish, using them every day and they are realy good for heavy duty things like Samsung smartphone screws...I havent broken any screwdriver for last 2 years.

I use wera pentalobe 10£ from Amazon and wera Philips 000 ESD £3.50 Amazon . Put them in their 12pcs presision set case seem really good first time I used I got them that tight it scratched the black back of the digitiser.

buy WIHA, I have a set of WIHA and you can feel the difference on the torque. It fits perfectly on the screws.

Try the "Picquic Teeny Turner" screw driver. It has a short fat handle, but the bits are very strong and durable. You can use it just to loosen the screws and use a long handle one to remove it the rest of the way more quickly.

I used to use NIWA PD30 holders and JIS blades for camera repairs. Perfect fit but 2mm blades could be a bit brittle. Worth it to save damaging screws though. They stopped making them & couldn't get them for years but a company called SPT is now manufacturing them, they say to the same specs. www.spt.info/index.php/6-articles-misc/artilces-only-links/80-spt-screwdriver-blades. Just started watching you and it's been great! I'm retired now but I keep my hand in with marine chartplotters sometimes.

I agree with a previous comment that "wera" and "wiha" make the best screwdrivers. For tweezers i think "erem" make good ones. they also make really good small pliers and cutters. Noticed you don't use ESD protection? wristband and mat and all that? Would be interesting if you would like to comment on this? Like why or when you think it's necessary, if at all?
