The two ABH face powders are blushes - one for lighter and one for deeper skin tones. I have always felt ABH has been very inclusive with their colors and tones without shouting about it from the rooftops.
This is a solid point. Feels like when something comes naturally to you (like treating all humans like they matter), you don’t need to shout it from the rooftops. It just is.
Saddle would be a a blush for deeper skin tones. It’s a beautiful natural color for us. & Happy Birthday bubba! I like light rain but not storms. They scare me
I'm watching this for a second time. The first time I was nervous thinking about my interview and missed a lot. Now that I have the job my mind is at ease I wanted to watch this again. I also wanted to share my new love for blush. I never used blush before because of the amount of redness in my skin. But man I've tried several blushes mentioned before and I love blush now. It does take the look to the next level. I can't believe I missed out all those years not using it. I'm so sorry blush for my years of neglect. You now hold a special place in my heart and on my face😂😂😂
@@carriemeadows3518 you know it. I went from having all my makeup fit in one drawer of my dresser. It is now in an entire closet and a whole drawer of just blush.
Seconding this because Em Cosmetics seems one of the very few brands that doesn't flood the market with products every 2-3 weeks, and most- if not all- their products are hits in terms of quality.
Definitely check the brand out! I finally did this after year and I love so many of their products! The so soft contour stick and blush stick have become staples in my collection as well as the original divine skies palette. There is a lot more intention behind the brand than others in my opinion and it shows!
That Primrose palette is so pretty! 😍 Unrelated: You may want to go see your optometrist about your eye that was hit with the tennis ball just to make sure it didn’t cause any trauma to the inside of your eye. (I am an optometrist.)
@@KaraLey98 A lot of people have that misconception! 😊 PCPs lack both the equipment and expertise to make correct ocular diagnoses. Eye problems should be seen by an eye doctor (either optometrist or ophthalmologist). Both optometrists and ophthalmologists are able to assess eye health and treat and manage eye diseases; the only difference is that ophthalmologists also do surgery. Emily is already an established patient with an optometrist and will be able to get in to see her optometrist sooner, which is why I recommended going to him/her.
I think I can honestly say I have a crush on Emily. Lol my heart actually skips a beat when I see she has posted a video. Love, love, love your videos Em. You have definitely set the bar high when it comes to who I even watch on RU-vid now. Your honesty and kind heart will always have me coming back to watch more.
Aww Emily, I really feel like you're a friend when you share all of this with us! You are just so kind and caring and really seem like such a sweet person. I'm back to wanting the Primrose ABH palette. I thought I'd hold off when it first came out but now that the Nouveau palette is out I think I'll get them both, haha.
Thank you for reviewing the Primrose palette. I am in love with it and happy to support ABH for being INCLUSIVE with the blushes! It's about time BIPOC can wear a palette equally. I love the color story and tend to love the same palettes you do.
Happy Saturday Emily and everyone. Sitting on my lanai drinking coffee and about to enjoy my Saturday morning video. I always look forward to this and a great start to the weekend. Hope everyone has a great day.. wow bubba is 2? I remember watching you when there were no kids and you worked at the news station. I just love hearing about and seeing your beautiful babies.
@@judithhermis875 lol I wrote in my comment I was having a Golden Girls moment and then deleted it. I love it so much you said this. I was watching them right before I commented. 💕
It's our Thanksgiving holiday and I just got a call from my ex-Husband and he has a tumor in his Kidney. It is Cancer. I am still best friends with him and his beautiful wife so am crying. I saw Emily posted and she is helping me with her calm energy and excited. I just love 💘her.
I think that they sleep through the storm because they get so much love and comfort from their parents. They know that their parents will always protect them.
Happy Saturday Emily! Excited for this ! I’ve been wanting to dabble more in cream products. Please keep the holiday reviews coming! 😍 hope you all have a great weekend 😘😘😘
I'm so late, but happy birthday Belle and Bubba. Bubba's such a gorgeous baby boy:). And, yes, Hazlitt is telling all of us to wear more makeup especially blush.
I love that you are not afraid to take risks with makeup just to show the full reach of a palette, i.e. the orangey blush in the ABH palette. You are such a lovely person and so much fun to watch!
I hope that the ABH palette is not a LE one, as I'm on a no buy until I've used up most of my older palettes, which it'll be probably take me at least 2 years to finish them, but once I'm done with that, this is the kind of a palette I would buy, and I would use the face product as eyeshadows also, that bronzer is just the kind of transition shade I could wear everyday! Emily, what I beautiful look you've created with that palette, and I love how truly excited you get about makeup!
That Teint Idole concealer even minimizes the crepeiness under my eyes, lol! @Emily, btw, the L’Oreal Hydraperfecte loose powder with the Age Perfect Foundation and concealer is a winning combo!
Emily, I'm a longtime viewer. Could you please use other eyeshadow colors other than the red group? I'm so sick of the pink/red/mauve/orange eye. Jewel tones? Blue? Green? THANKS for considering!
I have been loving the Lancome concealer. It sits really nicely under my eyes and doesn’t emphasize the wrinkles and texture and wears well all day. I think it only gives a medium coverage but that’s enough for me. I think little boys are extra cute with a fresh big boy haircut. I’ve been loving all your holiday release videos it really helps me to decide what to get❤️
I love the Lancome Teint Idole concealer. I sometimes just wear that on my blemishes/spots and that's it. Such a beautiful look you did with the new Anastasia palette!!!
I loved seeing the ABH Primrose palette in action today! I duped the palette on my channel with single shadows from my collection, and feel like I got super close!! Thanks ‘Em!! 🤟🏻💕🤟🏻💕 Love tons!
I love listening to gentle rain, even some thunder, but last night (Friday), we had the most ferocious, scary thunderstorms down here in South Florida. The sky was ablaze with cloud-to-cloud lightning.
HiEmily, i really like the ABH Primrose Palette. Ot what I was expecting from them. I’m glad the palette is not too Christmas. The outside and the color story on the inside make it a year round palette! I also liked the Benefit Lip Product. Rhett looks so handsome with his hair cut. I can’t believe he’s two years old already. It seems like you just had him. You looked beautiful today. The final look was gorgeous! 💜🍁💜🍁💜
I love the new lancome concealer. There are very few concealers I can wear that don't look dry and crepey but that one is wonderful. It looks like skin and never seems to look bad throughout the day.
I’ve tried a lot of high end concealers and somehow nothing beats the Milani concealer. I put it on and let it sit for a minute but not too long and it looks amazing without having to set with powder which ages under eyes.
I loved the Em cosmetics sticks and how they blended out so effortlessly. The pallete was nice too, but frankly I've got enough of those colors in other palletes already. The look you created was stunning.
When you began applying the Primrose shade from the ABH palette, we both “ooohed 😍” at the same time! 😁 My ABH palettes are some of my most loved and most used palettes, and I can tell this new palette will be another favorite! Thank you for this video, and making my Saturday a lot more fun! 💜
I just purchased the Estée Lauder sheer makeup yesterday. I was looking for a tinted moisturizer and was introduced to this one. I'm anxious to try it today. Thanks
I got the Primrose palette and I love it. Those 2 shades are definitely blushes. If you think about it maybe they were trying to cover all skin tones. I love that. The lighter one is sooo pigmented and the other one looks like a terracotta color blush and you always have the option of mixing the two.
I love the EM Cosmetics blush and bronzer sticks! They apply and wear wonderfully. I really like the primrose palette also. I’ve used it a couple times now and I just love the colors!
I want the Em cosmetics sticks … and I look forward to your review of the Benefit lip colors! I’m skipping the ABH pallet since I bought the large Norvina V (which I do love!). Happy birthday to your 2 year old!
Hi Emily. The L'Teinte Idole concealer was recommended to me by "my" David. It quickly became my ride or die. I have the "caverns" also. I find that less is more...I use just mere dots of the concealer and it works its magic. The more I use, the worse it looks. That is my advice. I love it. I can't believe Bubba is going to be two!!! It feels like you just had him. His hair cut is so handsome.
I love ABH pallettes, but I think I will either wait until spring if I pick it up. It feels more like a spring pallette to me. Is there a 2021 IT Look Book that you'll be reviewing?
Happy Saturday and Happy birthday to Bubba & Belle. Their joint party sounds amazing (especially Bubba’s concession stand!) I have seen a few videos on the Primrose palette and they’re all over the place. The only consistent take away is excessive fallout but you didn’t seem to have much issue with that. I think the Saddle blush is more aimed towards deeper skin tones while Grapefruit is more for lighter tones. Saddle would be WAY too warm in my fair to light skin tone. I’ve seen so many influencers drool over that concealer but it doesn’t seem all that amazing to me. I’ll take my Elf Hydrating Camo over it anytime! I have yet to purchase any Em Cosmetic products but, boy, do I want to. I know they are stellar products because you have repeatedly said so. You are my #1 go to for reviews and I trust your opinions implicitly!! There’s nothing like a Saturday morning after a long week, a hot cup of coffee, and an Emily video!! I hope you all have a great weekend! 🥳
I love EM Cosmetics. Have not been disappointed in anything, except that Venetian Rose is not cool enough for me. Emily, have you tried the Cosmic Pearl eyeshadows by EM Cosmetics? I'm drawn, but they are a tad pricey. Curious if they are worth the investment.
Thank you for doing a tutorial with theAbh palette! I got it for my mom for Christmas and I might have to buy a second one for myself now! So pretty!! ❤️ love you Emily🥰
Glad to have this Saturday video! I'm super underwhelmed by the idea of the abh but I can appreciate what they are trying to do. 🤷♀️ Happy Saturday Em!
I saw this Palette - and was not excited by it...but seeing it on you - WOW - and you are so right about EM....great products - will be trying these sticks. Great look! How was the combined b'day party? HUGS from CT (where the trees are turning !!!)
Yay! Your vids are part of my Saturday routine 🙂 just thought I'd a random idea for a video - maybe you can do another of your kids picking your makeup and also what the event is for the look - everyday, holiday party, date night, etc. Ok keep the vids coming love you!
Omg! THE GNAT! I 💯 love your realness!!! You’re seriously my MOST favorite everrrr!!! PS: the wet n wild powder is on my list for my next Target run! Plus…. This is a BEAUTIFUL look!!! Is there a dupe for this palette?!?! 😍 Love it!!
Hi Emily! Happy Saturday! Hope you and your family are all doing well! Thank you for another great video! That ABH palette is really pretty, love the look you created with it! 💜
If you ever have a blush that’s too deep for you, just dip back and forth between the blush and your face powder! Perfectly lightens it :) you could also dip back and forth between the dark nude blush and the peach :)
Emily, you always create a beautiful, effortless look. The ABH palette is beautiful, but I'm not convinced I need it in my collection. I have those colors in various TF palettes. I recently bought the Lancôme concealer from Ulta. Unfortunately, there was a skeleton crew working that day and I wasn't able to have someone help me with color matching. I'm about your skin tone and usually get fair, or fair neutral for concealer and never have any problems. I bought the 90 N and it looked fine on the back of my hand, with the perfect undertone. However, when I used it the next day, it appears darker than what I expected, so its not as brightening as I would have liked. I could have gone lighter in shade. The formula is beautiful, however. I have dry, mature skin and it is the best concealer formula I've used so far. It blends like a dream and never looks cakey, especially after setting powder. I didn't return it because it's the perfect shade to wear if I don't wear foundation. I can blend it out over my cheeks and covers the small amount of rosacea I have. I might get the lighter shade with the upcoming Sephora VIB sale.
I’m definitely getting the ABH palette, but that Saddle blush will be used as an eyeshadow for me. Too deep and warm for my skin tone to be used as a face product
We have a metal roof and love to hear rain hitting it. We're in Georgia, so we get a loooooot of rain. In fact we get so much rain it's hard to get the lawn mowed on the weekends.
LOVE LOVE LOVE watching your videos! You apply make up like the real world really applies make up 😄. There is also something about your voice, I just like listening to it . Have you tested/ reviewed the RCMA liquid foundation? I don’t recall seeing a video with this foundation. A friend has it and it looks so beautiful on! My head is spinning a little trying to guess my shade . Thank you for all your great knowledge !!
