Join us as we continue our search for great cheap eats in the Los Angeles area. In this video we try Filipino fast food at Jollibee!! This is our first time trying Jollibee and it was loads of fun. See what we think of the fried chicken, spaghetti, palabok fiesta and more! We are coming to really love Filipino food and we also love sharing it with you! CHEERS!!!

You're right on the nose with the salty/sweet combo. A lot of Filipino food is a mix of sweet/salty/sour tastes. That's why eating Fried Chicken followed with a forkful of sweet spaghetti hits the spot.

Add lemon juice to palabok then mix it first before eat. Spaghetti mix it first before eat. Sorry if Waiter not told you mixed first before eat.

I agree the peach mango is their best dessert in the menu. You can’t leave Jollibee without ordering it. But the banana lanka pie is good too. It was discontinued for a decade but they brought it back

On the Palabok Fiesta, next time, you need to MIX the dish entirely until the thin noodles are covered with the sauce ( annato seeds mixed with shrimp gives the reddish color ) so the flavor is intensified, and sprinkle it with lemon juice.

You got all of the "must try" items. Congrats! The Peach Mango Pie is my go-to dessert to cap whatever meal combo/item I get. My Jollibee experience doesn't seem complete without the PMPie. It's simply the best pocket pie for me, whether it be Jollibee, McDonalds, etc. You should pronounce "palabok" with stress on the "la" (pa-LA-bok) instead of the "pa" (PA-la-bok). And one would typically mix the palabok up first (and squeeze on some calamansi juice or lemon, if calamansi is not available) before eating. But we Filipinos won't insist on strict rules for eating something - you decide whatever works best for you. Enjoy your next Pinoy food adventures.

There is one place you must cool down and enjoy some Ice Cream. It’s a Connecticut based ice cream place called Rich Farm Ice Cream. This is the best Ice Cream in Connecticut and many people in California are enjoying just as much. We have about 3 in Connecticut and it might be growing but strangely they branched out to Placentia California which isn’t too far from Los Angeles. The Dutch Chocolate Brownie is really really delicious. I love to see this business grow if you two stop by the there I promise you’ll not be disappointed and hopefully see this business grow because they deserve it.

It's crazy to me how you both don't fully mix the sauce with the noodles 😂 I'm glad you both pretty much enjoyed the food you ordered. And you're so right, when others go to Jollibee to order spaghetti, they should not expect it will taste like their usual spaghetti. That is a Filipino style spaghetti 😊

I noticed that there's no lime/lemon juice in sachet for the palabok fiesta. Normally they give it whether for dine in or take away. The lime/lemon juice in sachet should be mixed first to the palabok fiesta before eating and it will level up the taste 😋😋😋

If you have a Jolly Face, Jollibee is definitely the place for you!!! Head over to West Covina (Azusa & Amar) and try the Pancit Palabok at Red Ribbon bake shop besides Seafood City Supermarket. Jollibee is real cheap in the Philippines but kinda expensive in the USA. Jack-in-the-Box is cheaper.

Whenever i buy a cup of pineapple juice I always double my drink by adding another cup of water to my pineapple juice to balance the sweetness of it.

Thanks so much for watching. We filmed this video on Super Bowl Sunday, so the entire restaurant was full of folks waiting for to-go orders. It was so busy and hectic that we decided to film outside where the weather was nice. CHEERS!!

Palabok u should squeeze lemon in it. That is just a fast food. If u want to try Filipino food. U should go to the Philippines with 7604 islands every island cook there food differently.
