Puns upon puns. Many subcultural inside jokes and so much stuff to unlock! And It's FREE! Link in the description. Extremely fun-to-play fan-made Horde Survival Action Roguelike about Vtubers! :) Let's try HoloCure!
Yagoo is the boss of hololive, his actual name is Tanigo but the kanji that is pronounced as tani in that name can also be pronounced as ya. When one of the talents who didn't knew the name before read it during a stream she pronounced it as Yago after which the nickname stuck. He is mostly depicted as smiling through his pain of his idol group being completely unidol like.
You forgot the bit where the entire community decided that he was universally’best girl’ to stop people arguing over best hololive girl because that’s weird when they are you know real people, and he 100% embraced the joke
@@TheAgentGray Roleplaying your character to max is a very awesome thing to do IMO :D thanks for the comment and expanding my knowledge of the hololive lore!
Hololive fans love the members, the CEO Yagoo, and even the parent company Cover Corp. An example of something the company did to help foster said love is posting an official statement concerning clippers stating so long as they don’t do anything immoral eg: purposefully mistranslating them to say something bad, editing clips together in a way that makes context wrong, its perfectly ok for said clipping channel to monetize hololive clips. All in all its a very loving and supportive community there is a video by a guy call hwikky where he goes to a pre hololive concert get together at a park near the venue where its FILLED with hundreds of fans going to the concert later. Sorry for gushing but I really love this community that has been created.@@theindiegamealchemist
@@KaoretheHalfDemon OMG, this is one of the best things I've heard about a community and a way of managing it. This sounds so great, I am so glad that I found out about the whole scene and stuff :) thank you very much for letting me know! :)
Since you asked, all of the enemies are based on the designs of the fans for specific Hololive vtubers. The skeletons (the Deadbeats) are fans of Calliope Mori, the crocodiles (the Teammates) are fans of Amelia Watson, etc. Some of them, like the major bosses and special enemies, are based on different references and characters from the fandom in general, though
I wonder if anyone's already mentioned it, items and weapons take up slots you can see in the top left. However, level up options labeled as "skills" (which are character specific, such as [short height], [power of atlantis], [shark bite] for the shark girl gawr gura) do not take away from those slots.
Ohhh, I was aware of that I can see the items I have on the top left corner, but I did not know that those specific stuff won't take away the space of that. Thank you very much for letting me know! :) it means a lot!
It looks like you're holding down the click-button to aim your attacks and you don't actually have to do that. Clicking just once swaps between aiming modes. Once you purchase it, right-click will let you do ultimate attacks. Hope you keep having fun and playing the game too.
Yes I was able to understand it for the second time :D I realizes that, but my ARPG experience made me do that by default. I am going to blast it for sure! Planning to showcase all the characters in the near future :) thank you very much for the commend it means a lot! :)
I like your style. You actually take time to read things in-game. Aside from the recommended Special Attack, get the upgrades for Stamps, Enchantments, Growth and Fandom. These will help out your future runs immensely. Of course you can upgrade various stats as well, but it is recommended you get the upgrades that are more easily maxed out.
the thing about the arc slash with kiara, there seems to be a sort of deadzone with the attack any mob too close to you wont get hit, I tend to get something like the book or even the miasma with knockback for extra damage. it will sometimes to tick damage then knock back the mob into the slash if the timing and placement is good. keeps the faster mobs from overwhelming you. also the fire trail can help if you prefer.
Oh, I was not aware of that for sure. Thank you for the advice, I am going to check this combo out :) Planning to try out all the characters and showcasing them in a video (or more), so when I check out Kiara I am going to know this, thanks to you! :) Thank you for the comment, means a lot, really!
if you feel like continuing i recomend buying the special attack upgrades so you can experience the full power of each characters the recommended upgrades to buy is mainly speed to outrun and dodge enemies. good luck.
@@theindiegamealchemist yeah stage 2 is a massive difficulty spike without upgrades but it IS Doable, btw a tip on collabs is that all weapons have collabs, its just that they only collab with certain other weapons. The game also gives you a list of what collabs you currently discovered id tell you what they are but I don't know if you want to be spoiled
I think the enemies aren't nearly as hard on the eyes as the attacks. If you are having issues, try turning down the attack opacity os the attacks fade into the background.
Oh that's a great idea! Played a few more occasions since and I think I am kinda getting better overall :D but thank you for the tip, going to check it out :)
With how many talents are in Hololive, I'd guarantee you find at least one you like. Id recommend starting with clips. Hololive has a robust clipper scene. If you find one thay catches your eye, watch their debut stream. Theyre usually cringy but give you an entry level idea of the talents talents.
That is a very good idea, thank you very much! :) Currently I am watching Ame, but based on the roster of the game I have to check many of them in the future! :)
From the many videos of people trying for the first time, I can see that HC definitelly need a tutorial, guide page for sure 😅 I'm a nut who reads the entire wiki before/during the game, but it's definitelly shouldn't be the intended way.
Hehe, yes. A small tutorial would be pretty nice, I do agree :) Ye I am not a wiki reader before playing. I read enough how to play while working, so in my free-time I rather not :'D Thanks for the comment! :)
Yeah but this is a game where the more you explore the more you learn and I like that it doesn't hold your hand all the way, and the only tutorial it gives you is the movement and aiming which is mostly what you'll need, if you like your hand held most of the time or go to wiki's to learn mechanics before playing the game then this game ain't for you m8 this is a casual experience that incentivizes you to learn for yourself, it's not gonna penalize you for missing the fact that you can actually enchant weapons with the anvils because it's not that significant of a knowledge you can literally play the game with no weapons and you would still reach end stage or reach 30+ minutes on endless
I don't understand :( someone told me that don't rush on weapon maxing out because many reasons, and now you say the opposite. My Action roguelike experiences would do the same. Maxing the main wepon out, and the others after that. Halp! What is the true way?:'D Thanks for comment btw, means a lot :)
@@theindiegamealchemist It's OK to pick other weapons early game. It's just my personal preference to max out the main weapon early 👍. Something about big numbers make my monke brain go brrrrrr......
@@chadkelley4267 I was only able to unlock 1 collab so far... So I have to max out a few weapons soon, because I am very interested in those collabs! :D
