Oh my gosh! I love, love, love these cards! You created cards that I think I can give a try with the techniques - even with the butterflies - which usually not very fond of, however between you and several other creators for SSS and Heidi’s explanation of the new subscription - I will be re-subscribing to the monthly card kit!! Oh my gosh, they just got better and better and I'm shocked that the more vintage style is my fave, card n.4 with the bird is stunning because of the colour choices and layering. Cathy you have great style! The SSS boxes are always fab. x

Loved what you cut the butterfly out of for card 1! That bold background on card 2 with the vellum butterfly was genius! My favorite was 4! Can't wait to play with this kit myself!

Another great unboxing and fantastic inspiration cards! Each card is better than the last. Don't know how you do it but thank you! I admit that I am not a subscription or kit crafter. Not because they aren't well curated or a great value (IMHO they are both) but because I need to be more deliberate with my craft budget. I appreciate your explaining what makes the @SimonSaysStamp kit subscription different. The ability to opt out of kits AND add other needed craft supplies to my kit order for a single S&H? Game changer. Well done @SimonSaysStamp!

Cathy: always enjoy your ideas. On the 1st card, I would put the smallest gems on the butterfly's antenna. Crafter's Companion has great papers, on both sides!

Wow! Thank you for the demo. I wouldn't have known what to do with a lot of the kit, so I appreciate your ideas because its not my normal style (possibly yet!). I have a background done already that looks a lot like your vellum card, so I'm definitely going to do something similar as yours is so pretty! I'm hustling to get my Valentine cards done today from the last kit, so hopefully they are dry before my hubby gets home!!!! 🤪

Butterflies are my jam so was looking forward to this kit. You made great butterfly cards. However, that collage card really drew me in. I hope you tagged Tim Holtz in that because it’s getting all the heart eyes. I never would have thought to emboss underneath and I really wouldn’t have wanted to use the fancy gold paper underneath. Now I want to use it for just that thing.

You'd have more structure if you glued the wings between a top body and a bottom body layer.

If you have warped water color paper, run it through your die cut machine, in the same sandwich you would if you were cutting something out of it. Takes a lot less time than using a book. Just an FYI and hope it’s helpful.

Can’t wait to watch. I’m just starting the video. But wanted to comment about the bruise. Ouch! Have you tried Boiron Arnicare? It helps with bruising for sure. They have a cream and gel.

Oof! I feel this. One time I was with my dad at the doctor’s office for a blood draw, and it took 3 tries and 2 different people to finally find a vein.
