I always stuffed a towel under my room door so my parents won't see the tv light shine through the base of the door. I usually stayed up watch USA Network because they had some borderline entertainment with a few commercials a young boy would find fascinating. Now that I'm an adult I realize that light shines out all corners of the entire door seam.
I'll never forget it. Where we lived at the time NBC was snowy reception but we made due. Well said man. We were so used to a squash ones. To see see a show with superstars vs superstars was so very exciting!!! I remember Pop waking me up just before it was ready to come on and letting me have coffee with him to wake up and we loved it! Volkoff pressing Hogan was epic! Was a thrill and a feeling I'll never forget! Great vid as always Man and that's why you are the one and only as I call you, "The Gold Standard" of RU-vid!
A couple of years in when I got a tv in the bedroom I would keep the door closed and the volume turned real low. Anytime I heard footstep I would turn it off. But the good thing was my parents room was next to mine so if they were in there they couldn’t really tell I had it on.
My guess as to why SNME wasn't mentioned on WWF programming is because they would be promoting a show on another network, NBC. One network isn't going to turn viewers to watch something on another network. Just my guess though.
You mention you no longer watch wrestling and yet it clearly had such a large impact on your life. I’m curious was they a moment or show that made you fall out of love with wrestling ? Like can you remember they was a time when you simply said I’m not gonna watch this anymore 🤔
@@TheNew80sRevolution Yeah I just find it fascinating that it went from such a large interest to not. (Love the channel looking forward to future content) 🙌
