That paw paw pain bubble is a bubble filled with Monkey D. Luffy's pain, Bartholomew Kuma extracted it from Luffy and to keep Luffy alive Zoro decided to absorb all that deathly pain into his body while being near-death himself and he stood up high like a boss saying "Nothing happened" well One Piece is known to have quite the unappealing animation & art style but it is certainly a worthy anime to watch. Fairy Tail is sometimes a bit criticized for being an anime just filled with short arcs (unlike One Piece's super long arcs) and fan service, it's also worth watching cause it's got some action and cool powers there and then so you can watch it though i like One Piece better because compared to Fairy Tail, One Piece seems to have better character development and less err plot armor.

Yeahhhh the thing about Fairy Tail is it's pretty fan-servicey and not in the typical way. In Fairy Tail no one is safe most of the characters get their clothes destroyed male and female, the main character is shirtless, and one of his rival/friend's gag is that he spontaneously strips and doesn't realize it till someone points it out to him. So the big question about whether to watch Fairy Tail or not is "How much fan-service can you handle?"

If you're wondering, Ris, the thing with Kuma - the bear man mentioned in the beginning, he ate the Paw-Paw fruit (yes, really) and his ability was to repel things with his paw-hands. That red paw-bubble in Zoro's analysis? That was all the pain and fatigue Luffy'd suffered in the previous fights. And that was a big and long fight.

Kuma has the power to repel things and he repelled it outta Luffy and Zoro just stepped into it. as fer Erza she replaced her missing eye with a magical fake eye. kinda like Mad Eye Moody from Harry Potter

The pain bubble thing was when Kuma rejected all of the pain and fatigue that Luffy had taken in a huge battle against a major villain from Luffy's body (restoring him to full health). Kuma then placed all of this pain and fatigue into Zoro's body (it was a deal that Zoro and Kuma made, long story). Luffy's body is almost indestructible (as far as just blunt force trauma is concerned) yet he had fallen unconscious because of all the damage he had taken. Zoro was also heavily damaged in the battle himself. Zoro should absolutely have died from this, but not only did he survive, he didn't even fall unconscious. His pain and damage tolerance is absolutely off the charts.

1: it's an artificial eye that can see through illusion magic and makes her immune to petrifaction magic. 2: Jellal isn't bad anymor, he lost his memory and could only remember his name, how to use his magic, and erza's name. 3: if your wondering why, remember that he gave erza her last name and after that he said that he will never forget her name, and all he had to do is look at her hair, when she asked him how he still knew her name he said "it was the color of your hair"

I don't know if somebody told you this yet, but they DID give the comparison in the analysis between Pica and the cube. They directly stated that Zoro's cut was more powerful than the 11-Megaton bomb, and, yes, they stated it was over 11 Megatons in the pre-battle analysis. You just missed it.

I think that they did not add the comparison so people don't know how bad Erza is outclassed in strength.

It's strange... After watching this show for so long, I can't help but show more respect for the characters that lose than the characters that win, even if my preferred character was victorious. Perhaps I am just taking pity on them, but that's how I feel. They may have fallen, but that does not make them any less of a hero/villain/icon than the victorious character. I know the feeling is great when your character is victorious in battle, but I hope more people can come to respect the fallen participants as well and I hope I am not the only person that feels this way.

Definitely recommend One Piece, it's tied for my favorite manga and the anime is pretty good too. Toei doesn't do the best job with adapting One Piece, with censoring, crazy long recaps, and sometimes not the best animation. Don't wanna hype it too much, but it's definitely a good time.

So here's the awesome thing about Death Battle. In a DB podcast, Chad acknowledged the fact that Zoro won mostly due to having had more time to develop. He followed this up by saying if Episode 500 Zoro were to go up against Episode 500/Current Erza (it's around that amount at this point), Erza would have won almost hands down. They also admit that they really wanted to do this battle so many times, however, the continuous release of chapters and episodes for both animes/mangas kept them from doing it. And they admit that were they to wait for both of them to end, we may not have gotten it for years.

oh and to explain the ''pain bubble'' Kuma (the bear man) has the ability to repel litteraly anything, Luffy defeated a powerful enemy and was knocked out on the ground, Kuma was going to kill Luffy but Zoro made a deal with him, if he can survive Luffy's pain despite being wounded himself he would spare Luffy's life, so he repelled all of luffy's pain and that was the red bubble you saw

In Fairy Tail, Erza was given an artificial eye. As for the bubble part, Kuma's ability is to push anything away basically. He pushed Luffy's pain out of his body and told Zoro to take it on himself, Luffy's abilities practically destroy his body.

Zoro's hand to hand combat is far far more impressive , he literally lift an entire house once , and that red bubble you were wondering about , is that bear man's ability he could take one's physical pain and fatigue and reshape it in the form of a bubble so he took out all Luffy's pain after fighting an insanly powerful character and what's more impressive is that Luffy doesn't get affected by some physical attacks unless they're from sharp weapons such as swords cuz Luffy is a rubbre man , so yeah Zoro took all of that and survived .

8:56 She lost her eye while being tortured after she joined Fairy Tail she got a false eye. While not mentioned in this any magic that affects eyes is either weak or ineffective on her.

the pain bobble was the stess and pain that Luffy suffered after a fight with a giant while containing 100000 souls to beat the giant. and concerning the pain bobble and Zoro's sense of direction, he can litteraly en up going the opposite way than needed and there is a common joke in the one piece fandom: "why didn't Kuma's pain bobble kill Zoro? " "when Zoro accepted the pain, he saw a light and was told to go towards it, but got lost and ended up going the opposite way instead".

The Luffy-Pain thing: Kuma has the devil fruit ability to "Push" things...from people to air (as a ranged attack) to metaphysical things...like pain. After a giant arc with a lot of powerful enemies, Luffy was completely powered out (taking tons of damage, using a lot of stamina-eating moves), and Zoro was basically the last one still being able to STAND. When Kuma showed up, he put up kind of a fight, but quickly realized, he's out of his league. Still refusing to just give up (as Kuma only had orders to take in Luffy), he impressed Kuma, who basically wanted to test his conviction. Kuma pushed all the pain and exhaustion out of Luffys body into this Pink balloon, first giving Zoro a taste of it (the scene, where he takes in a small bubble), and then telling him, he's going, if Zoro takes everything for himself. Zoro agrees...and survives, standing upright like a bloody mess. But...that was a bit showing off by him. In fact, it took days for him to be able to walk around again, and in the following arc, he was still struggling, his stamina abysmal...which kinda leads to the biggest loss the straw hats suffered up to that moment.

Zoro and his childhood friend remind me of the relationship between a coworker and I. Keep in mind, I usually don't reveal names, but since this guy has one of the most common first names ever, I'll use the first name. James and I met not on th first day of training, but at the freaking job interview. A week into training, we were hanging out in the break room. The topic of favorite video game franchises came up and we both loved pokemon. I told him that my family refers to me as the number one pokemon fan. He told me he was the bigger fan. We've been rivals ever since. Even after over two years, we still ask eachother trivia questions to try to prove our point. Other coworkers started to think james and I hated eachother, but in reality, we're best friends. We motivate eachother to become better pokemon trainers. Heck, earlier this year, we were both extras in a movie. He's the one who invited me to the film shoot in the first place. James, if you're reading this.....I'm still the bigger fan.

The pink bubble thing, was the damage accumulated through an incredible battle causing Luffy to pass out from pain and fatigue. along with the battles Zoro was in prior, he took on the pain and suffering of another, enough to kill most people

I actually think you would like One Piece, the art style is weird but it's meant to compliment the cartoony aspects of the show.

here are some fun facts for you Ris: 1. there is a time skip in One piece where all the main characters get massively stronger, Kyutoryu (9 sword style) was only used before the time skip so we have yet to see how much stronger that technique has become 2. Zoro did not use his strongest moves in this death battle: 3000 worlds (the move he used to cut Pica in half) and Iai: shishi sonson (a sword slash so fast it makes him basicly teleport and cut through anything including steel) he used that 2nd move to defeat an enemy who was litteraly a man made out of steel, cutting clean through his skin (and this was before the massive power spike) Zoro was pretty nerfed in this death battle and he still won with ease, even FT fans admit that Erza never stood a chance ;)

allow me to fill you in on the giraffe guy. The Straw hats went to this world government island called Enis Lobby to rescue one of their crew mates from death. During their break in to the main building one of the secret agents told them that they have to go through the entire building and fight 7 members of the agency in order to get a key to free their capture crew mate from these powerful handcuffs and Zoro happened to fight the second strongest member

You'll probably get a million comments telling you this, but here's the million and first. Zoro made a deal with Puma to spare Luffy's life. Puma said he would do it but only if Zoro, who was already about to collapse from exhaustion, would take on Luffy's pain. Luffy had just been through a massive battle that destroyed his body, which is tougher than the average human's since he's made of rubber. That tiny bubble that went into Zoro was a taste of Luffy's pain so he'd know what he was getting into. Zoro agreed, jumped into the big bubble and just took all the pain and damage for himself, which instantly healed Luffy. Probably the most epic moment in One Piece.

Ok so I just thought of this but... If the FT characters were in the OP world,wouldn't the FT characters be useless because there is no ethernano in the OP world which would not let them be able to use any magic and then get magic deficiency disease or something.

In terms of returning characters there is actually 6 of them now. Batman (vs Spiderman and Captain America), Shadow (Vs Vegeta and Mewtwo), Charizard (Vs Blastoise/Venusaur and Agumon), Goku and Superman (vs each other), and now Deadpool (vs Deathstroke and Pinkie Pie).

Don't worry Ris, Death Battle found a way for Kirby to win and no one expected that, so Pinky Pie is basically already confirmed to win.

Big mouth and eyes are how Oda draws younger characters, also animation improves as series progresses.

If there's one thing I'm noticing as I'm watching these Death Battles, is that people really praise the hell out of the victors and then bash the losers even if they never liked the winners before. Yeah, I pay attention to the comment section just like everyone else lol. But yeah, why's that a bad thing? Because, even if you liked the character who lost before he/she dies on Death Battle...Now they bash the character's integrity while they're down and praise the one that won. Like for example, before Death Battle showed Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell vs Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid, ALMOST EVERYONE was bashing the hell out of Snake and praising Sam Fisher saying Snake shouldn't even be able to hold Sam's jock strap. But since Snake won Death Battle, suddenly now it's reversed. You guys really ought to just love a character for who they are not because they can beat the shit out of a comparative other character.

The only "place" you could actually Pinkie fighting is in a game called "My Little Pony: Fighting is Magic". It can be seen in some RU-vid videos, but I don't know if you can get a copy of the game.

The reason the bubble is impressive for Zoro is because this happens right after a major fight and the entire crew was already near death from a fight they just had. In comes Kuma the bear man who is way stronger than them takes the pain Luffy endured and added it on to the pain Zoro already endured.

I feel like I should explain the pain bubble thing since you seemed particularly bewildered by it. First let me start by saying you absolutely must give one piece a chance. You will not be disappointed. It's my favorite anime of all time. Now, so Bartholomew Kuma was the big bear man we saw in the video. He has the power of the "Paw Paw" devil fruit. This power allows him to literally deflect ANYTHING with the paw pads on his hands. And I do mean anything. From Zorro's swords to Luffy's fists, the the very air itself. He can deflect anything. And that's how he created the pain bubble. That pain bubble belonged to Luffy. Luffy had taken some serious damage in a fight with a very powerful foe and he was down for the count. After Luffy was down and unconscious Kuma appeared intending to take his life. Zorro tried to defend the unconscious Luffy but was unable to defeat Kuma so in a last ditch effort to save his captain's life Zorro offered his own life in place of Luffy's. Kuma initially said no but Zorro insisted. So Kuma placed his hand on Luffy's body and "deflected" all the pain he was experiencing, creating that red floating paw shaped bubble. He told Zorro that if he truly wanted to take Luffy's place he had to absorb all of his pain, and it would most likely kill him in his already weakened state. Kuma gave Zorro a small taste of the pain so he could see what he was asking for. But even after that zorro wasn't deterred. so Kuma gave him the whole enchilada and left without killing anyone else.

I remember watching the Death Battle Cast, it's funny that you mentioned the strength factor based on how long the series is, they mentioned that during the cast as part of why Erza didn't do so well, since she didn't have the escalation like Zoro has had yet. There's the chance she'll catch up, if One Piece actually stops. With Deadpool vs Pinkie Pie, I think it's a great idea due to how much they obliterate the 4th wall. I'm personally withholding judgement until they show the episode. Especally looking at Majin Buu vs Kirby, where it looked like Buu had a easy fight. I'm hoping that for part of the fight, they'll have some crazy multiverse battle with Deadpool using that Continuity Gem (or some other plot device) to bring his different versions and that pool Pinkie Pie used to clone herself. I think that alone and the unavoidable chaos that'd follow would be worth the price of admission.

My prediction for the next one is that Ponk and Pool, being goofy 4th-wall-breakers, will not cooperate with Wiz and Boomstick, resulting in a "battle" that is inconclusive at most.

To clarify Erza only use magic to summon her weapon and armor they don't require upkeep she also has massive amounts of mana. Also the black flying armor increases her strength and the red flying armor resists fire.

Art style is definitely one of the biggest turn-offs for people for One Piece. Though, I do think it's worth looking past, it's by far my favorite anime (if you couldn't tell). The atmosphere makes it seem very light hearted, and it quite often is. But I think it's beautifully written, and some arcs get quite serious and dark. (Though I appreciate the humor quite a bit as well, not a lot of fans do though). I actually really appreciated the opening dialogue, most people overlooked it, but I think the voice actor for Zoro did a great job. Anywho, enough rambling. My money's on Pinkie Pie for the next battle.

Zoro easily takes this. He's simply a monster in his own world and he's only gonna get stronger as the manga goes on. Hell,during the Dressrosa arc,he's debateably stronger than Luffy in Dressrosa. Zoro still has yet to show his true power in the Timeskip and without a doubt,it's just gonna make this more of a stomp.

Quick Mention: Zoro has access to all those three flavors of haki btw and also megaton is far far bigger than kiloton.

RIIIIIIIS give one piece another shot I beg of thee! the early animation might be cringy but it gets better over time. OR if you really can't get pass the animation (which I can respect that!) then tackle the manga. It's an extremely good series and yes, I am a fan of it. It's actually been a top favorite of mine for a long while now. The character growth is done well imo. The story itself gets you heavily vested in the characters so that your genuinely rooting for them when big fights take place, and overall it's just a nice anime one of the few long running anime series that has actually been good. If you won't tackle the anime itself I highly recommend you read the manga sometime. You won't regret it

Deadpool and Pinkie are both parody characters so it better be a parody ending where they both win. Pinkie has fallen to little pieces and reassembled her self, has the power to be friends with anyone, and they both can break the forth wall.

The only feat I really care that wasn't mentioned was when Ezra defeated one of the strongest demons with the loss of all her 5 senses and her pain tolerance lowered to an extreme... That should definitly count for something. Also her leopard armor set thing, that increased her speed to an insane amount...

Erza lost her eye but a healer lady by the name of Porlyusica made her a artificial eye that she can see out of. You shoud definitely watch Fairy Tail man. It's really good.

and concerning one piece: either read the manga or Watch the japanese version. there are three English dubs: ocean, which ended too shortly; 4kids, WHO buried the anime in too much censorship and localization and funamation, WHO kept to the idea of the original anime (unlike 4kids), but had bad voice-acting. but even though it might not be your cup of tea, I would still recommend it. there are alot of great stuff in it.

I am not going to fanboy this one but I do believe Screw Attack got this one wrong. We have all seen the Natsu vs Ace fight ? If not go watch its funny. Erza is capable and has defeated Natsu with ease twice if my memory is right. She has tanked a magic cannon that could destroy a city and tanked an explostion that did but what was not mentioned is when she took the hit from the cannon she got back up and fought one of the element 4 and defeated him the element 4 are the top tear wizards of a rival guild she took on and defeated with ease the main one that was after tanking a city destroying weapon then she fought the guild master and was able to fight but not win not because she was not good enough but there master was on par with her own and was considered one of the 12 wizard saints and no one is more powerful than them. Did I also mention before she tanked a cannon shot she was in a guild on guild war ? So I think its understandable she may not have been at her best yet still was capable of doing what she did. The feat with the cube happened after she was drugged tortured for I think it was days and without rest was able to do that feat, Where she fought other enemies after this and eventually caught up to her torturer and was inflicted with magic spell that amplified her senses to cause unimaginable pain, She whooped the person with that spell still active. Her feats don't just outshine Zoro's they blast them out of the water. The feat with Pika ? Was a team effort not him alone and the one with Luffy ? Even they said he survived somehow meaning it made 0 sense plot armour that's it. His skill feats can be matched by Erza and even surpassed as she can defend against just about anything even a sword that cuts through dimentions she defeated. A guy who manipulates nature she put down. A guy who can weaken master level wizards she beat. You think Natsu is OP ? She one shot him and even he is afraid of her. Her destructive power in the guild is legendary that's why it makes no sense how she lost. Speed is effective but not as effect is a well prepared defence and she has several costumes for that as well as weapons, She is capable of shooting lightning as well as fire and summoning weapons without changing her outfit and vise versa. I know many will see this as a fanboy rant but nothing I have said is in true watch the show you will see there is maybe 3 or 4 people that can maybe match her in power but none match her in skill. The feats I pointed out are good feats, But there are a lot more to show how consistently she does this. I heard in all honesty nothing Zoro could do that tops her and the feat with strength was a team effort so should not stand as he is never depicted to be this strong on a regular basis on his own. {0,0}

I think their research is a little off, but I can't really argue with the outcome. "There's no evidence to suggest that any of Erza's armors could close that wide of a [speed] gap." Dead wrong. Consider this: Flight Armor. This armor is inaptly named because it is one of the few armors Erza possesses that cannot fly, but it instead allows her to move at least as fast as Zoro if not faster. She could and has paired this with the sword from her Purgatory Armor set, which is among her most powerful blades in one-shot potential. She could also pair Flight Armor with the Blackwing sword, which gains power over time through combat. Still, while Zoro's feats are not quite as impressive from a magical standpoint he still outclasses Erza in one-shot potential by some degree. He destroyed a mountain; she destroyed a floating island of the same size.

despite all of the negative things that have been said about the next deathbattle i still think deadpool vs pinkie pie will be awesome
