Rhaynes couldnt take the knee because doing so would mean she's made the decision for her husband, she was waiting to talk to him first to get him to her side
Did you notice that Jace is exactly like young Rhaenyra? The way he said "send us" with their dragons is mirroring the first episode (or second idr) when Rhaenyra says "You have dragon riders father. Send us" to Viserys
Basically you don't play around with Dragons, Luke's dragon sensed that luke was scared and reacted with dragon fire. Aemond was playing around with a 300 year old dragon that is about that life and look at what happened!
The fact that Aemond didn't mean for Lucerys to die is inconsequential, because he instigated the sequence of events that killed the kid. He might genuinely feel remorse, but no one is going to believe for a second that there was anything accidental about it.
@@taliyahrose but you know even in book so called Targaryen madness in not so simple it's not like every bad Targaryen is mad there were few really mad Targaryen kings but some of them were just bad kings not suited not mad like Maegor the cruel as it says he was cruel but sane he knew well what he was doing so he was not mad even when people call him first mad king later it was Prince Aerion he could be called mad because he drank wildfire because he thought it will turn him into dragon later it was Aegon IV called unworthy and he was the worst but again not mad just stupid and unfitter to be king and in the and we have Aerys The Mad King who also was not born mad he was actually pretty smart guy but something happen to him when he was in prison and he started to be afraid for his life, he saw enemies everywhere ,he did not cut his nails or hair something push him to madness but i think he and maybe Aerion can be called really mad and do you know who came up with When Targaryen is born gods flip the coin King Jaehaerys(Daenerys Grandfather ) quote from book "King Jaehaerys once told me that madness and greatness were two sides of the same coin. Every time a new Targaryen is born, he said, the gods toss the coin in the air and the world holds its breath to see how it will land." Barristan told this to Daenerys so "Targaryen Madness" in not rule that everth bad Targaryen king in mad.
I love the little details about the crowns. Aegon was crowned with the black crown of Aegon I the Conqueror. But Rhaenerya was crowned with the golden crown of Jaehaerys, which is the one that Viserys always wore. The same one that fell off his head when he sat the Iron Throne for the last time. I assume there are a lot of different crowns and jewels in the castle but I teared up that Erryk brought that one.
Poor Lucerys. I was really liking him because he seemed like such a sweet boy. He may have been timid but he was brave in the end, facing his legal great uncle, going to Storm’s End alone. He may not have been so kind to Aemond or Aegon but he did love his brothers, mother, and his aunt Helaena probably. I mean everyone loves sweet Helaena.
He spent his whole life being told he was a bastard, and not a true Targaryen OR Velaryon, unworthy of his heritage. But Prince Lucerys died fighting at sea, riding on a dragon
@@AstaraBrightwing actually Luc was next to be Lord of the Tides. He wasn’t to inherit the throne; Rhae is to inherit the throne and her oldest son inherits after her. Alicents children are not true Targaryen’s either. The only true Targaryens are Rhae and Dameon and their children. 🤷♀️ The king named Rhae the next heir & anything anyone has to say opposing that fact are wrong.
@@vanessajoe2144 alicent kids are true targs cuz their dad is a targ and by ur logic rhaenyra isn’t a true targ because her mom isnt a targ either, u clearly never read the books or have no knowledge besides watching the show so stop talking abt shit u don’t know abt
@@AstaraBrightwing the only reason Aegon the II is on the throne now is because Alicent misunderstood what the king was saying before he died. She believed it was their Aegon who was promised. When it was actually Jon Snow; who comes from the lineage of Rhae and Daemon. Which is what The King was talking about. He knew it was Rhae and their blood line that would fullfill the Conquers Dream. We all know how this ends. 🤷♀️😂 Meanwhile Alicent set up for her bloodline to be erased. Only true heirs know about the Conquers Dream and Aegon the II was not one of them. I stand by what I said; the king named her next heir to the iron throne. Also by your logic; Aegon the II doesn’t deserve to sit on the throne; how many bastard children does he have? We saw one in the previous episode. The fact men couldn’t handle a women ruling is why Rhae was put in the situation she is in now.
My thoughts on Rhaenys not bending the knee is that she stood with pride and so that Rhaenera could see her. Almost like a Mother/or Auntie (cousin.. but my younger cousins call me Auntie),and she could see the first woman Queen standing tall. I guess to me as a Mom and Auntie, that's how I took that scene.
Arrax was just a baby. Vhagar should've known betted than to eat a baby dragon who is still learning. It's also Aemomds fault for making Vhagar think it was a battle.
SPOILERS FOR THIS VIDEO! There are some theories about what happen with the dragons, daenerys in the books says that dragons are unpredictable, she says how when you hit a horse on the right, they will run left to get away from danger, dragons normally would run right to attack danger but sometimes left too. Then there's the thing about dragons feeling the emotions and being connected to their riders. Maybe Aemond didn't wanted to kill Lucerys, but he was feeling anger and encouraging Vhagar to chase, laughing when she would try to take a bite. Arrax could feel Lucerys fear and need to survive, which may have make him attack Vhagar, which in return made Vhagar angrier and with more of a need to protect Aemond. Also, for what i remember Rhaenyra already blames the greens for what happen to Visenya, her stillborn -only- daughter, she says they killed her (because of how the death of her father and the loss of the throne affected her) so with that, plus what happened to Lucerys? Oh yeah she's gonna go mad, i hope she burns everything down
Yes, the way I see it, by actively participating in the birth of her dragons through blood magic and fire ("Fire and Blood" are the words for House Targaryen for a reason) she secured the loyalty of not one but 3. I truly believe Daenerys was the promised "prince", and she was the best dragon ridder since Aegon (better even since she did it without a saddle and all). And they ruined her.... Still hopeful for the books!
@Sofia A.K The most ideal ending would have Dani be like, "Oh, you're my nephew then? I have been damaged by black magic and can never have another child. I also cannot risk someone trying to use you against me. So, you will swear loyalty and acknowkedge me as queen... and yourself as my sole heir."
It doesn't excuse Daemon grabbing Rhaenyra, but I think he is grieving for his brother. And I think he was also deeply hurt and angry that Viserys never told him the most important secret of their house.
It’s more than just not being let in on the secret. Rhaenyra says Viserys told her when he named her heir. The thing is, Daemon was Viserys’ heir for ten years, yet he never told Daemon, meaning his brother never truly considered him a worthy heir, just a placeholder until his son was born.
I agree that was one reason why he was mad but I also think he believes Viserys’s dreaming might have made him a subpar king always dreaming and thinking fate with just happen in his favor instead of acting when needed and making the right decisions, so Daemon doesn’t want Rhaenyra going down that road also. That was what I thought of when I first saw it
@@luciwolffrsa I know, same! I like that Rhaenyra understands that the soldiers and the people will be the most affected if they go straight to war but I also agree with Daemon, they are already at war even though the physical fighting hadn’t started yet
If there wasnt a storm raging with heavy rain and high winds, Arrax would have been able to easily outpace Vhagar. But Vhagars strength and size gave her the advantage during the storm. Arrax was only just old/large enough to carry Lucerys. Such a tragedy :(
Maaaan.....my heart broke for my Queen of House Black! A Targaryen can only take so much. That vein in her forehead lit up and it's onnnnn! Yeah... you're gonna know what withdrawal is now. LoL. I'm walking around like a crack head in need of a hit! 🖤🗡️🐉😭
Just started watching you last night. Saw your GOT stuff and was finally prepared for the violence your chair would go through after this episodes death
Viserys told Rhaneyra in the first episode that they do not control the dragons, it's an illusion and they shouldn't be triffled with. It's also why Viserys never claimed another dragon after his (the largest) died. Once Aemond placed the dragons into a situation where Luke's dragon had to defend them, that led to him spewing fire at Vhaghar and Vhaghar retaliating. The riders had no control at this point. Plus, Luke's dragon was sensing Luke's anxiety and fear in trying to get out of that situation. Same way Syrax sensed Rhaynera's pain in child birth. It may not have been Aemond's intention to kill Luke, but that's what happened and now, he has literally jump started Rhaneyra to officially join Daemon for all out war. There's no coming back from this. Yes, even Dany struggled with Drogon at a point where he was burning up people's animals and babies. That led to her chaining up the other 2. At the end of the day, the dragons will do what they want and putting these dragons into these deadly situations (battle against each other) will lead to unfortunate death for a lot of people. Yes, now you can enjoy the wait for a new season like the rest of us. It'll release in 2024 but no certain of a specific month. They could return to the GOT date of Spring 2024, but that depends on how long post production will take. People keep seeming to forget that COVID delayed a lot of projects and backed up a lot of work for visual effects workers. Knowing the mounts of battles to come, I'm fine with them taking the time they need to make S2 and beyond the best it can be. Plus, 2024 will be here before we know it. Time moves very fast!
Arrax would yes be faster than Vhagar, if not for the storm. Vhagars size allowed her to be relatively unaffected by the wind/rain, but it slowed Arrax down because he is so small.
Their dragons only allow one rider in a lifetime of the rider. If that ride or dies then you're able to claim that dragon just like Aemond did with Vhaegar Now Daenerys had three dragons But as you recall she was only able to ride one. That's Why Jon was able to ride Rhaegal Daemon was just luring the dragon out of seclusion, Vermathor was King Jaehaerys' dragon
So couple things regarding how things went down between Lucarys and Aemond. Viserys & Daenerys said it best. From one we get this gem. “The idea that we control the dragons is an illusion. They’re a power man never should have trifled with.” And from the other we also have this one. “A dragon is not a slave.” There is honestly a lot that can be unpacked from how this scene played out, especially if you’re up to date on your dragon lore via the books and Game of Thrones tv series. But without giving you literal paragraphs of lore I will just say you’re right. Vaghar took matters into her own hands… as did Arax when he shot his shot at her eye. To put it simply, the lads were never in control of the dragons so they did not lose their control. The bond with their dragons is more akin to a partnership instead of master/slave or boss/employee and in the case of Arax and Vhagar they more or less decided to override their partners take/opinion/stance on the situation :/ For starters, a dragons first instinct is always to fight … not flight. Bringing a dragon to any conversation is not unlike bringing a loaded gun with a kind of their own. You just don’t do it unless you are absolutely certain the safety is on and that you can keep it on. Secondly-- in this situation arguably Arax swung first and Vhagar responded accordingly. But-- not before Aemond decided to f around and literally use her to strafe Lucarys and Arax multiple times and snap at them. You have to remember Arax is still a very young dragon, it’s why he’s so small, especially compared to Vhagar and her being a literal behemoth. You also have to keep in mind that being young means HE IS ALSO V INEXPERIENCED. This is likely the first time the young dragon has been in a combative situation and on a fear level terrified to the point where he broke away from his rider’s command to respond to the threat he felt. I can speak similar for Vhagar. Putting her up against Arax is basically the same as pulling up a tank to a twig. Vhagar is an old lady my dude. She wasn’t here to play Aemond’s game the second the young gun decided to actually try it. She wasn’t about to listen to anything Aemond said after that. Vhagar is also a G and a whole veteran of 2-3 wars I believe. Now compare that to lil Arax’s experience…. Yeah. Then there’s the bond itself… Aemond has only had Vhagar 6 years. Neither he nor Lucarys are the most experienced riders or have had the time/experience needed to bond as deeply with their dragons as say Rhaenys and Melys who clearly has a lot more say in her partnership with her dragon then the boys have with their own. You also gotta take the bond further into consideration when you think about how the lads were feeling during the scene. A dragons bond with their riders is magical, telepathic in a way, they can feel their rider’s pain and their emotions. If Aemond was angry, was having fun, and had truly malicious intent, so did Vhagar. And if Lucarys was as terrified as I imagine he was, Arax was as well. Finally the size and the weather. Now normally you’d be correct and Vhagar’s size would mean she’s maybe not slower once in air but certainly not nearly as agile as a dragon like Arax. In a normal situation Arax probably could have outmaneuvered Vhagar and escaped like he did ducking into that trench. The only problem was they were at/near Storm’s End. You saw what the weather is like and Arax is still a small young dragon. It likely took a lot for him just to keep himself and Lucarys in the air safely even before Vhagar started chasing them. The stormy skies and wind literally took what small advantage Arax might have had away where Vhagar is so big her wings could easily handle it. In the end, no matter what Aemond MEANT to do here, he is at fault for this ‘accident’ given he brought Vhagar to ‘only scare’ his nephew. Dude effed around, and found out. I’m sure it’s a lesson he’ll remember till the end of his days given the consequences of it.
Luc made an oath to his mother. No fighting. That's why he said I should take you answer to the queen because it all be safe. He wasn't allowed to be any kind of anything but a envoy and a messenger.... He takes what he says to his mother very seriously, unlike Jace who would not and go against it probably And I don't think he was shy in the throne room. I think he was shitting his pants to be honest lol
Luke was nervous when facing Borros Baratheon (and especially Aemond) at Storm's End; but he held his ground. Remember, Luke was 14 (13 in the book), had never been away from his mother, and was now entrusted by her with an important mission; he did not want to fail.
Great Reaction. I like that the end was kinda foreshadowed when Viserys told Rheneara back when she was young "The idea that we control the dragons is an illusion"
You can only ride one dragon Dany had 3 because drogon was the "leader" of the batch of eggs, so the other 2 followed him, but dany could only ride drogon otherwise she would have been killed/knocked off the dragon Daemon was basically saying to vermithor that they were going to need him, and eventually someone does ride him, but not daemon because he already rides caraxes
As much as I enjoyed HotD, the first season of GoT outshines it vastly. I think that the world building and character arcs are perfectly paced and impeccable. I think if HotD had slowed its pacing a bit and stuck with the younger casting throughout, it would be a closer contest between the two shows.
They have to follow the source material and the older cast members were cast first. They had to get to the main part of the story, it was never about them in their teen years. The older actresses were also better.
@@alexissimpson5819 Oh I fully understand why they did what they did, considering everything you mentioned. I too agree, the older cast were phenomenal. I very much enjoyed this season. I just would have personally preferred the first season be slowed down a bit and then have the second season switch to the older cast. There was so much filmed that showed character development, which ended up being scrapped to rush the pacing. Add that back in, and they could have even shot both seasons at the same time to save time and money.
Daemon isn’t a hated character. In the books a lot of the characters are more grey. Meaning you love and hate them at times. The show runners decided that Daemon is just bad for…reasons. But given how we love antiheroes like Tony Soprano or Walter White the audience reaction to him isn’t what the show runners expected.
This is why I love the show where we see this story unfold. Book wise it’s narrated and unreliable because no one actually knew what happened in the skies, knowing Aemond he will say he did it on purpose- since he was a kid his main thing is to not be seen as weak. Clearly malice wasn’t the intent- more so taunting gone wrong. But I love this twist to represent the Dragon and rider bond!!! It’s a lot better and shows again like Viserys said them controlling dragons is an illusion, they’re not a slave. Sadly these events make Rhaenyra the Black queen and the ruler she becomes
i can explain the blood ties between House Baratheon and the Targaryens So during Aegon's Conquest, Aegon the Conqueror's bastard half-brother, Orys Baratheon, was his chief lieutenant and after the war, Orys started House Baratheon. When Aegon died, his son Aenys succeeded him, Aenys was married to Alyssa Velaryon (Corlys' great-great aunt). Aenys and Alyssa had 6 kids with their third son, Jaehaerys becoming king. Alyssa remarried after Aenys died to a guy named Rogar Baratheon (Orys' grandson). Alyssa and Rogar had two children (Boremund and Jocelyn) before Alyssa died in a c-section birth with Jocelyn. She was in her 40s at the time so a dangerous pregnancy. Boremund is the father of the Baratheon dude we meet this episode with 4 daughters (Cassandra, Maris, Floris, Ellyn), we did Boremund in a previous episode, he was the guy who asked for Rhaenys' favor at the tourney in episode 1 and was the guy who sat next to Rhaenyra as guys proposed to her. Boremund's sister Jocelyn married her much older half-brother, Jaehaerys', eldest son, Aemon (they were close in age and it was a good marriage by all accounts) and together they had Rhaenys. So Rhaenys is half-Baratheon, and in the books she had the Baratheon black hair but the show simplified it and gave her the Targaryen look.
Rhaenyra's reaction to Luke's death was a bit played nothing short of amazingly by Emma D'Arcy. You saw her beginning to crumble and break down like any mother would, but she then realized she was a Queen in front of her guards and counselors and instead just let that fire smolder. All rationale is now gone.
Vermithor, The Bronze Fury. Not quite as large as Vhagar, but unlike most every other dragon except Vhagar and maybe Caraxes, he's experienced and seen combat before...
I love how this episode shows the dragon bond with Syrax sensing Rhaenyra’s pain & reacting! With Caraxes knowing Daemon’s intent without direct orders. With Arrax sensing Luke’s fear, & Vhagar sensing Aemond’s hate! It also goes back to what Daenerys said, “A dragon is not a slave!” & Viserys in episode one “The thought that we control the dragons is an illusion”! But that made me mad at Daemon I get he was mad but he went too far! I also didn’t like Rhaenys didn’t automatically support Rhaenyra like in the books but she came around. Cregan Stark is my fav Stark of all time! & Aemond killed Luke on purpose in the books cause of the Baratheon girls made a jest at him. Ngl if I was Luke I would’ve dipped soon as I seen Vhagar 😅Yes the 1st lord Baratheon was the conqueror’s half brother & princess Rhaenys’s mother is a Baratheon. The dragon Daemon was singing to in Valyrian was Vermethor the old king Jaehaerys’s dragon. Heleana rides his wife’s dragon Dreamfyre who is believed to be the one that hatched Daenerys eggs. RIP Luke Rhaenyra gon be out for blood! Loved watching the season with you major!
When I watched this the first time, I knew what was going to happen to Luke and Arrax. But to see it on screen is just like watching the Red Wedding happen even after reading the book. 💔
Another great reaction Major The dragon that Daemon was singing to was one of the wild dragons he mentioned earlier. And if I’m not mistaken I think that dragon was King Jacery’s dragon (I don’t think i spelled his name right but he was the king at the very beginning of episode one)
The three wild dragons does not include Vermithor and Silverwing that live in the dragonmont, those three are Cannibal, Sheepstealer, and Grey Ghost. But yes, Vermithor was King Jaehaerys' dragon so he's been riderless for about 30 years now and Daemon is keeping him socialized so there's a better chance for him to accept another rider at some point.
She lost 2 kids, her father and had her throne stolen. Alicent and Ottos treason, putting aegon on the throne, her father's death, and the fact that they wanted to come for her kids is what I think caused her to go into labor. Aemond may not have wanted to kill Luke but it's his fault no matter how u look at it. He chose to chase him and mess with him. If he would have stayed with the baratheon Luke would have been fine. Also him not being able to control vhegar is telling
Don’t you dare compare Luke to Tommend. Tommend had no spine, he sat there like a lost puppy when his Queen was arrested by the Faith. Luke fulfilled his mission with dignity and pride.
I just finished watching 5 seasons of _The Crown_ so I know what you're referring to... In this instance, it is LEGALLY the same but the 'DYNAMIC' is different! The people assembled are more LOYAL to Daemon then to Rhaenyra so to her son by extension and while Jaze does have the legal authority he doesn't actually have the POWER needed to take over control of the room from his Step-father/Uncle. Phillip had the PRESENCE (like this young man) but neither the AUTHORITY or the Political Will (support of others) to assume POWER.
That's Vermithor. Which is actually bigger and older than Vahgar. He wasn't in Aegons Conquest. The dragons in the conquest were Balerion, Vahgar, and Meraxes. I don't know the origin of Vermithor, I'm sure the readers of the series know way better than me.
Vermithor was ridden by Daemon's grandfather King Jaehaerys; Daemon probably knew the big dragon (and vice versa) when Daemon was a boy. I think Vermithor recognized him...Silverwing, the dragon ridden by Jaehaery's sister-wife/queen Alysanne, was probably sleeping nearby, she habitually denned near Vermithor (they were partners). Hopefully we will see her next season.
I'm so happy you reacted that way to the choking scene Major, "you put your hand on the Queen one more time you'll lose the hand". At the start of the ep you mentioned him being your favourite character, and I was thinking, "I hope by the end, that changes". Because Daemon is my least favourite character in the entire show. He's a groomer, a domestic abuser, anger problems and tantrums like a child. It's hard to even root for Rhaenyra anymore because Daemon is just that much of a piece of shit to me.
Let me begin my comment by saying I'm not a fan of Daemon as a person, he's done many unforgivable things. But in this case, there is a writer that hates him and is writing him worse in the show. The choking is 100% out of character for him. He loves his family and would never hurt them. That's been consistent through the whole show UNTIL this scene. I think Matt Smith tried to salvage the scene, because as he backs away, the look on his face is a mixture of emotions and one of them is regret. I do agree that he's not a good person at all. As far as cheering for Rhaenera, Daemon isn't her only ally or family member, and her side shouldn't be thrown away because of one person.
People are more complex than that. You can’t just throw labels on Daemon or anyone, it’s not that black and white. True he’s far from a Boy Scout, but he has redeeming qualities and is a great character; people have a right to choose for themselves which characters to admire., yk?
It is true that Daemon never harmed Rhaenyra in the book; nor would have been capable of killing his first wife (since he was far away from her when she died).
Rhaenyra lost 2 kids, 1 dragon, a father and a whole kingdom in like 24 hours. If anyone had a reason to be like Dany in the Bells, its her!! Speaking of Dany, she had 3 coz shes a boss! It is possible to bond with more than one. Only reason they didn't coz their were so many dragons and so many targaryans that they were just pulling a Westerosi Oprah. You get one, and you get one, and you get one. And speaking of dragons, Arrax is one of the smallest ever but still supposed to be bigger than Drogon. Dany's dragons were small as hell compared to the dragons before them. And Vermithor is supposed to be just slightly smaller than Vagar. So basically another huge as a castle almost the same type of atomic bomb type dragon on the Blacks side
I blame Aemond completely! If he wouldn’t have had his bitch fit at the castle, and chase Lucerys in the sky, with the biggest freaking dragon ever, nothing would’ve happen. Poor boy, he said he was not there as a warrior, and hell even before when they were all little, u could tell that he was not a fighter. If his mother kills the whole family next season…I’d be fine with that 100%
You'd be fine if Rhaenyra kills Helaena and her children - who had nothing to do with Lucerys' death? Or Alicent? Alicent may have disliked Lucerys for being a bastard, but she never wanted him dead.
@@gailf1617 You’re right. It’s not right to condemn all for the actions of a few. Collective punishment does nothing but hurt innocent people. Definitely kill the Sons, the mother, and grandfather, all their little minions, leave the daughter and the kids alone and everyone go on their merry way. Seems fair.
Fun Fact. in the Book, Aemond kills Luce on full purpose. And remember what Viserys said in the very first Episode in the Cave under Kings Landing: "The Idea that we control the dragons is an illusion". Arrax tried to protect Luce because he sensed the fear of its Drgonrider. Just like Syrax felt Rhaenyras pain while giving birth
Daemon and Aemond are my favorites since my....I have a feeling he will be....all time favorite Viserys died. I'm kind of like major..... I will cry in front of people with no shame over the stupidest stuff and I'm a grown man. Damon has made me cry more than anybody so far in this show. He might be pretty much tied with Viserys in that though. But him on the beach juxtaposed with Rhanyra wrapping up her baby friggin CRUSHED me. Especially when I realized that they BOTH lost two loved ones on the same day. Also, you are 100% correct. The casting of Rhanyra and Allicent compared to their young selves is fantastic. Allicent is closer I think
I was wondering when this was gonna drop; loved the reaction lol had a lot of the same sentiments 😂 I’ve decided to re-embark on the GOT journey to hold me over, so I’ll be re-watching your reactions to that too 🤷🏽♂️ keep the content comin, boss 💯
Regarding Dany and her dragons, she was their mother and birthed all of them but she only rode Drogon. So the part abt Dragons only having one rider at a time is true. It’s not confirmed by the show, and of course this was before we found out he was a Targaryen, but it’s believed that Jon claimed/bonded to one of her other dragons. He rode Rhaegal.
17:06 In the book Fire and Blood it is described that Rhaenyra was in labor for 3 days and when she had her daughter Visenya it is described that she was born stillborn, deformed, twisted, with a hole in her chest where the heart was supposed to be and a dragon tail with scales.

He was the largest and oldest of the wild dragons some say he was the oldest even older than Balerion (Aegon the conqueror's dragon ) but it was never proven Cannibal was known to attack smaller dragons and was feeding on flesh of dead dragons that's how he got his name Cannibal
Sunlight helps Dragons grow faster. In the game of thrones that’s the reason Drogon was so big when he came back to Danni. Just a fun fact for HOD and GOT fans out here 😄
Was so excited for this upload! The reason we never saw the table light up in GOT is because most Targaryen history died off with their house. Just like the fact that there were words in Viserys dagger. The history wasn’t passed down because they all died off and very few knew about it in the first place.
poor luke, i'm sad we won't see more of him and his dragon. :[ also, the casting is AMAZING. compare pictures of older rhaenyra with aemma in the first episode, it's wild. not to mention the the actresses for alicent look so much alike it's scary. xD
The dragons that didn’t grow up near a volcanic area didn’t get anywhere near the size of the dragons that do. It’s why they say Drogon was so large that when he was away from Daenarys while the other two were locked up part of the areas he was seen in are those volcanic areas
