I know a lot of Evil Dead fans will disagree with me, but in my opinion THAT is how you make a horror remake.

Don't listen to the haters. Die hard 4 was not that bad. In fact I think it was pretty damn good. I don't know what people expected but its an enjoyable Die Hard movie no matter how you slice it.

Although "HE" isn't in that movie mentioned at 20:22, he did give it his blessing and was even involved with some initial reaction trailers for it. I would definitely go and see this movie, it's a wake up call for the genre and I'm glad to see it come back.

New Evil Dead looks like it could be really solid. Anyone denying that is afraid to admit they might actually like a remake. Raimi and Campbell are behind it, I'm behind it.

That Evil Dead remake is actually looking pretty ok. Granted I've never seen any of them but still, it at least looks like it's gonna be a decent horror movie.

World War Z looks like its going to suck. I'm cautiously optimistic about the Evil Dead remake. I just saw the original trilogy for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and I really enjoyed them.

"It's Khan" "It's the story of him first putting him in exile" That would be Space Seed. ToS episode 22. Some people have suggested that he's everyone from Gary Mitchell (Where No Man Has Gone Before) to Garth of Izar (Whom Gods Destroy). Given that he's a Starfleet Officer it seems a little unlikely that he's Khan.

See I'm actually completely cool with it if this is Khan because it's a brand new story and looks awesome. As opposed to Superman fighting Zod again which I'd prefer not to be happening. New movie should introduce a new foe that he hasn't fought on the big screen yet in my opinion. :)

World War Z looks So fucking terrible. The entire point of the book was that they were fighting a never ending, slow moving mob of zeds and after a few years of holding out they fought back to take back infected lands.

How would those be the realistic kind? Dead creatures mean decaying and I don't think something decaying would run as fast. Rigormortis among other problems. World War Z was a great novel, and the fact that they are running does the novel a disgrace. Unless it's just the scene of the Great Panic, then I can't condone them running. (Which it's uncertain). The section in the novel with Hope New Mexico, cannot work with running Zombies, nor Yonkers, New York.

To be honest the first Evil Dead movie was pretty serious too and that is what they are remaking. It had some hints to what Evil Dead 2 would do (which was basically a comedy remake) but they did go for the scare and gore factor. I'm not sure about this remake, I hope it is good but has the potential to be just another modern horror movie that does nothing for me. As for Star Trek: I hope JJ came up with a new villain and not Khan. Resetting the universe just to retread old stories is just lame

World War Z was a great book, but the trailers make me worry. It will be an awful adaptation, and as a movie it has a high chance of being terrible
