Hi all, it's been a while. I realized in this video there might be a bit of an interesting fact, please allow me to explain. At around 8:00, Dacoobers is lamenting about how the source game (Lethal Company, made by renowned Roblox furry Zeekers) is no longer new, and thus is quickly becoming a tired, stale performance that brings more pain than ad revenue. This goes on for around a minute, but it's not really the focus of this comment. At 8:25, or about, Dacoobers mentions landmines, and how a common gag spawned from the game is for people to laugh after someone uses the landmine; but, since the game is so old, this joke is very predictable and has lost most of its shock value, leading people to forcing themselves to feign laughter and surprise from the moment, which is admittedly funny in the slapstick sort of way. In the video, he uses a few examples of his point, each of which showing a good picture of the landmine as well as what it does to the people who step on them. Here's where the interesting part of this segment comes into play. These landmines are Anti-Tank mines, apparent from the wide base and large pressure pad in the center (see mines like the TM-62/64/89, the inspiration is apparent). These mines are distinct from Anti-Personnel mines, which are much smaller and either have small pressure pads, or wires that detonate the explosives when disturbed. Most notably, though, is the required weight to set off these mines. Anti-Tank mines usually require between 150-1500kg, or between 330-3300lbs to set off, which is done intentionally so foot soldiers, light vehicles, animals, or more importantly, civilians, don't accidentally set off the mines when using roads. Anti-Tank mines also have a large payload designed to penetrate armor, which explains the people in the video flying off, though in reality they'd become a fine mist. Anti-Personnel mines on the other hand have fuse weights less than 25 pounds, but don't have the payload required to damage armor. Since this video game is so low-poly, it's hard to tell exactly what specific mine this is, so we'll just take a loose average of around 1,500 pounds as the trigger weight for these mines, this is a generously light value. Now, you might be thinking this is an absurdly heavy weight required to set these mines off, and you'd be right to think this. After all, the astronauts in this game get totally launched when they step on one of these mines, so there's no way they'd weigh 1,500 pounds. So then, what causes the mine to go off? At first I believed it to be magnets, which definitely could be the case, but a magnet that strong would certainly have adverse effects elsewhere. For example, if magnets were in place, wouldn't the giant bolts in this game come flying towards or away to/from the players at ridiculously high speeds? Clearly it can't be that. Maybe it's radiation...but no, this wouldn't make sense either. The fuses look to have an electronic warning system that alerts the victim when it's been set off, it has to be something related to weight, either directly or indirectly. I was at a total loss, completely stumped. Fortunately, in my darkest hour, I quite literally had my answer phoned in to me. Your mom, she called me. Naturally I rejected the call, after seeing her for the first time I couldn't even fathom to think about her...but here it was: my answer, your mom. If she's needy enough to call someone like me, then certainly she must have some kind of connection to these poor space faring trashmen. She must have a direct link to their comms...perhaps she's the entity known as the Company? Regardless, my point is that she must have some kind of communication open with them, which is where my conclusion comes in. Your mom is so obscenely fat, so incredibly heavy, that her mere presence in the form of the radio waves she sends and receives from these workers is enough to bend spacetime to cause gravity to believe, just for a second, that the worker weighs enough to set off the mine. My guess is that the radio waves are only transmitted upon contact, which explains why the mine is only set off when you touch it, and not when you're within a radius. Now, you might think I'm crazy, but this explains so many other phenomena too. The bridge collapsing? Easy, it's the same principle as the mines. The dogs being able to hear you? The weight, it transmits through the ground when you move, and through the air when you yell. The giants eating you? They're tricked from believing that the sheer mass they sense translates to much needed lipids in their diet. This has to be it, I'm telling you, your mom is so fat that even radio waves bend to her will.
@@Dacoobers You know how time is relative to gravity? If I had to guess, I'd say something about that phone call I got was enough to warp time for a few seconds, allowing me to do all of my research and make my conclusions. I think that has something to do with it, though that's just an uneducated guess, I don't know too much about relativity.
Dacoober’s and the crew has become like an ironic Vanoss crew except it’s always sandbox and it always ends the same way every gmod sandbox game does: with everyone dying to the map being nuked
Broken arrow is the designation for instances where a nuke has been accidentally dropped. Yet dacoobers treats it like an order for a tactical nuclear strike.
9:04 is the most important part of the video. The cinematography of looking at ratlobbers massive forehead foreshadowing the appearance of indiana jones because in fortnite indiana jones bald as shit. Also the aztec artifact was lazy screenwriting 9:37 Continuing to sing the main theme for Indiana Jones while following him was the most stupid thing ever and didnt even make me smirk once. 9:51 was heartbreaking hearing how dacoobers could have made a joke to a better game but because of the backlash he would receive from it he chose not to 10:14 is when you really outshine the performance of indiana jones because master chief is awesome and i especially love the small detail that indina jones is holding an mp40 because indina jones on top of being bald as shit is also old as shit so it fits his character. 11:04 the poo man joke was one of the best comedically timed joke because through out the entire video there was small little hints to the poo man like the joke richter overtime made about the fart cushion and i like the fact where he became a very important character seeing him appear for the rest of the video. 11:42 the fact that you use a Mexican really shows the diversity of your videos seeing how hispanics are also represented. And the use of the legend herman was very heartwarming 13:23 the lethal company dev was really outspoken in this part especially revealing his insecurities and the fact he is now mega rich and is gonna spend all the money on furry garbage. overall this video was very mediocre and the mediocre parts stick out like a sore thumb. 5/10
Ah Gary’s mod. New games will dominate the industry for a while, RU-vidrs will run it stale regardless of its original merits, but Gary’s Bombs 5 will always be funny because it’s a universal assblast of sound and destruction
I wanted to watch a tutorial on making a TV handle in garry's mod but the person who made it added a bunch of weird unrelated footage around it for some reason
"Then were gonna walk on a mine, and everyones gonna pretend to laugh it" this is the same guy who laughed at "peter griffin would definitely be a boomer"
this video was so funny! the creativity displayed in this video was amazing, I would not have ever thought about bringing in Indiana Jones, or MasterChef, or even creating a character Mr. Lethal. there was so many twists and turns, it kept me at the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next! It shows that Dacoobers has still got it after all of these years, keep it up man!
I think it’s very rare we find genuine satire on RU-vid these days; it’s usually reserved for massive influencer apologies as a scapegoat. However this is a brilliant example of how the comedy can be used In a good old fashioned RU-vid style. Ver good dacoob.
Apathy is a killer at heart It enters your brain, it brings you no pain Apathy are the idols hands of life Forget all your trouble, forget all your strife
Finally, one more dacoober original, another masterpiece, beautifull, love you dacoobers Please, come back with the left 4 dead 2 glubtastic series 😢 You honna receive money 🤓😏
Sly reference to the creator of lethal company at the end there. But with those millions he's made, he could send a pipebomb to your mailbox, or it's already been spent on vore.
So why does Brick sound like someone trying to impersonate Bricks voice? I can't be the only one who hears that I have been watching his videos and been subbed to him for years and only like 6 days ago found Dacoobers
