We were invited deep sea fishing with Capt Tom and Capt Mike aboard the FishAngler App boat out of Hillsboro inlet, Florida! In this catch and cook video, we head offshore fishing looking for mahi mahi with no luck! We switched our fishing techniques and decided to go deep drop fishing for blackbelly rose fish. Blackbelly rosefish aka rosies aka sculpin are a deep water fish living in depths of 900ft and deeper! First deep drop rig, we caught a big barrel fish! Then we filled the fish box with rose fish! Oh they ARE scuplins. I thought they looked like one of the sculpin species. The sculpins here have poisenous quils sticking out of the fins. So you have to be very careful but man they taste good.

I just had my 2nd landshark after being a loyal sub. I heard from 1 person oh it's no good like a Budweiser... They were wrong. I get 1 free drink per shift and i am now setting aside LS.. Its like a .... I'm not gonna ruin i 4 u. But its. Like a _with a quarter lime and salt. But also somewhere between a bud and a fosters lager also. It's become cravible quick.

It's like rock fishing in California at 600 feet. The fish don't survive the trip up because their air bladders blow up. Very good eating. But 600 feet is a long ways to crank a 9-0 reel with a 4 pound weight.

Snook makes a mahi look like a blue fish. redfish live to 50 years too. No telling what type toxins they pick up over 40 to 50 years. Mahi is a safer eating fish.
