Lethal Weapon and Lethal Weapon 2 are obviously better than part 3, but LW 3 is by far the most hilarious! Especially with Joe Pesci in it. I miss that guy, he was just amazing whether he was a funny guy or a professional killer. Please, someone bring the man back!
I always hated the scene where the mom slaps Murtaugh, as a parent she should have taught her son better. He’s the one shooting people and committing crimes. Teach them young not to give in to gang pressure, move away, do what you have to do to keep your kids out of that life. Go through their rooms when they’re not home, talk to their teachers to see how they’re acting in class, pay attention to how they’re dressing, speaking, etc. If you don’t have time for that, you shouldn’t have brought a kid in this world. It is my firm belief that a couple needs to be financially, emotionally, and “spiritually” secure before having a kid. Meaning they need to have college out of the way if that’s their path instead of trade school, a secure job for several years already, and have been together for several years and at least 28. I say that because it gives both people plenty of time to get college out of the way, get some restlessness out of the system, get a few years without kids to truly secure a bond and see if they belong together, and get settled in a job, a house, a few years to save money and prepare for the kid. That way one parent can potentially stay home for the first few years to save money on babysitters, etc. If more people took things that seriously and maturely, we for sure wouldn’t have as many teen pregnancies and immature or uneducated overburdened parents and unruly brats we have these days. All these damn criminals in the streets because they weren’t properly disciplined at home. All you negative ninnies will be ignored. Nothing is perfect, but one system definitely works better than the other.
The only thing weighing this movie down is Leo. They didnt need to bring him back. In fact, I wish they killed Leo in the end of Lethal Weapon 2. It needed to get that dark. Riggs proves once again that hes more than enough comic relief for one movie
