I worked on huge machines for Caterpillar for a little over 10 years in the coal fields of virgina when the coal was booming, 994 loaders, rh200 shovel, 793 haul trucks ect, got old after a while but yes it was awesome especially when I got to test them out before and after repairs when possible 😊
As a child, 1965 World’s Fair in New York, I remember walking around and under a mining truck with…14 (?) foot high tires. I was 7 and everything was big, but that memory has stayed with me.
Nice video nice seeing crushed rock or stone being loaded and handled, how many tons per load? I like seeing and hearing the material hitting the truck bed. Keep up the good work
Hi, I really like your videos. I was wondering if you could do a video showing how to operate a Komatsu D475A-1 or -2. Also, if you could show the differences between the Komatsu D475A-3-4-5 thank you and I was also wondering if you could film a Komatsu D575A . thank you :)

Old R.G. Liked building big toys but he would probably have a cow if he saw just how big a toys his name ended up on the hood of. Shame it’s now owned by komatsu. Another American company lost to foreign ownership.
As a company that operates in a market otherwise dominated by Caterpillar, one wonders how LeTorneau survives. If it wanted to, couldn’t Cat make loaders this big?
Komatsu and Cat are similar in size and lines for large mining equipment. Theey compete unit per unit, size per size, in almost all lines, rope shovels, hydraulic shovels, drills, loaders, production trucks, cats....
Why is it every loader operator I see on you tube has the bucket up full height? This creates loader instability and excess dust. Why can’t they roll it out of the bucket. Yes I am speaking from experience.
Shouldn't trucks be parallel to pile so loader doesn't have to turn so much? I do with track loader to save wear on tracks Look up "Joseph LeTourneau " and all his invention s. A Genius in 1950s- 60s.
