No not enough although I do find myself playing more indie games, I thought it was because they are shorter in time but after finishing Tunic it took about 25 hours that idea went straight out the window lol. I just enjoy Indies

Oh man... You're speaking my language. Slay is one of my all-time faves and nothing has been able to touch it in terms of other deck builders. I've enjoyed Monster Train and Dicey Dungeons and several others, but they have not topped Slay. That's just a special game. I'm ready for a Slay sequel!

Personally, my favorite rogue-like is Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup and TOME4, epic kitchen sinks. It's hard for me to get to modern ones, most of them won't leave early access or developers just stop supporting them(I understand that from business point of view, but it's an awful waste for many of them). That's the reason why Binding of Isaac was such a hit, just shame it degraded into dumb bullet hell heavily based on RNG after the last expansion . I'm not even generally fan of meta progression(it's fine to open new floors or new possible items, but just flat out stat bonuses are dumb), but I did enjoyed it in Sundered for some reason, and even finished it. I should try Noita, but my crappy old processor needs to be changed first, hope some time in future :D
I appreciate your points here and completely understand that meta progression is not going to be for everyone. I'm so glad you mentioned Noita--that would be my top recommendation for you (along with Spelunky or Spelunky 2--loved these also). My hope is that Noita will come to consoles someday so that an even larger audience can enjoy it.
Great points buddy. Understandable if meta progression isnt for u, all depends on what you look for in the genre.
