Its brilliant i am thinking this time next year you will have 100k just everyone watch the advertisements bwcause it dose make a difference i know we all want him to do great xxxxx
🎄This is excellent Selmar as it is so important for the man to be stable and confident in his moves before he begins to lead a lady which is first fundamental in Tango. It is enjoyable to watch and remember when I practised A. Tango every week and a plus when you also love the music. All the very best to you with these workshops; I will continue to enjoy them thank you. You are such a wonderful part of the whole Chateau de Lalande family🦚
Love this tutorial, simple and easy instructions and the perfect room to demonstrate your dance moves in. Congratulations on your 10k subbi count and thank you Selmar, you’re such a wonderful gentleman. Hugs to Diesel.
Selmar, you are such a multifaceted gentleman. Gifted in the arts! You, Stephanie and all the wonderful volunteers at Lalande are keeping our spirits up during a time of isolation and anxiety. I am so grateful! Congratulations on reaching 10,000 on RU-vid. 🙏🏻❤️
I'm a fusion Belly dancer and i remember doing a whole workshop on 'Feeling the floor' and 'incorporating the flow' I feel that these exercices are very good in perfecting that! Thank you Selmar! As a fusion dancer i appreciate these little capsules ;)
Thank you Selmar!!! This is a wonderful idea to teach us the basic steps. I learned some Tango years ago and have been wanting to start again. Now I can. ;-)
Thanks for the dance lesson about listening and following the "quick, quick, slow" rhythm to fantastic tango music. It was a wonderful reminder of my first and only tango dance lesson. iA la milonga y a bailer!
Selmar, great lesson! I used to practice Latin dance (Salsa, Mambo, Rumba, Tcha Tcha Tcha...and Tango), dancing is liberating and a blessing to our souls. My favorite rhythm is Salsa. Love from Brazil!!!
Jacqueline writing - WOW thank you Selmar - this is great- definitely a fun thing i am going to try out with my husband Stuart over the holidays - and YES to more - we love Contra dance and 5 Rhythm but no ballroom yet but given current circumstances where we cant dance with anyone else this is a great opportunity to learn couple dancing AND Argentine Tango is the one i like best by a long way. Always a joy when there is an unexpected bit of Tango in The Chateau Diaries. Congratulations/Mazeltov on reaching the wonderful landmark of 10K And THANK YOU for being at LaLande you are such a HUGE part of its healthy and happy current state and i love to see you your amazing work - such talented creations xx
I LOVE it Selmar! Please do more. I am following your progress. I have always said that I will not marry again unless I can find a man who will Tango with me! LOL
Selmar, I've taken some ballroom dance lessons. Your instructions are very good. I got interrupted practicing with you the other day and now I've gone and hurt my knee...darn it. I really enjoyed your lesson and would certainly appreciate more 😊
This was wonderful Selmar, thank you. I cannot move much these days so it was fun following along in my mind. On my less dizzy days I shall play this again and try out some steps. My quality of life is much improved since watching you talented, creative souls at Lalande. 🤶🎄💕
You are a wonderful dancer and a born teacher Selmar! Looking forward to dance with you once, perhaps at Emmy's place au Château Chauvaux in Douzillac!
It would be so magical to learn dance this way, I am so excited for your dance lessons @Selmar Duin personal one on one lessons here online, magical and what an amazing time we live in :) LOVE the music as well :) And congratulations on 10k ! You deserve 100K :)
You are a great teacher.I was laughed at and taken out of dance class when I was young because of dyslexia. I have also had a permanent crush of the thoraic spinal area,With your lessons I feel I am free to dance alone with my own self and have happiness.Thank you!
Wonderful content Selmar. Great way to get off my duff and do something different to occupy my time during these winter pandemic months. Thank you for sharing these lessons!
Yes!! I'm so excited!! Dance lessons!! I needed something fun to do and this is it! Here's hoping that 2021 is a better year for all of us, and that it includes lots of dancing and laughing! Selmar you are so talented and kind! Yes more lessons please!
Wow this is fun to watch wish I had somewhere to go to dance. We live in a small town. Guess I could learn this and when we are at a party somewhere I could start dancing the Tango by myself. Everyone would be shocked. Great idea Selmar. Merry Christmas.
I think you have something here Selmar! Would love to see you have a dancing playlist, teaching different dances. Maybe Stephanie would volunteer to be your partner!
So delightful. Reminded me of when I started to dance over 10 years ago and attended events in many places including rooms that look just like this. Being in the middle of USA, there are only a few Argentine Tango venues nearby, so my passion eventually led me to a short trip to Argentina for a whirlwind tour of milongas in Buenos Aires. Love your spirit!
Oh! What a lovely surprise Selmar! I'am a big fan of Tango dancing, even years and years ago had taken some lessons but.... I need to start from scratch again ; )) So, your very 1st Tango lesson is more than welcome!
I watched the vlog earlier when you were all saying your ages and birth signs. Selmar, did I hear correctly that you are fifty eight? The creche you designed is a brilliant design and an heirloom for the chapel.
Loved this first lesson! I beg for more lessons! Will practice. Must get some Tango music and that would help alot. From the time I was three years old, I took dancing. But I took Tap dancing, Jaz, Ballet and Baton. I once did a Military tap dance, twirling two batons. Wish I had taken Ballroom dancing. I taught dancing when in High School, and the village I lived in paid me to do it. That was what I loved all my life, like breathing. This takes me back and will give me the ability to know the Ball Room dancing steps. Danced always and have loved it all my life. So thank you, thank you. Never got to take Ball Room dancing all this time and no one teaches this around my area. Wish I could dance this with you and know it would smoothly come, as you would glide me through it. This is like the "Box Step" Walz 'somewhat anyway'. Also, the newer thing called Tai Chi exercise, gives a good way I think to practice these slower moves? To get the "feel" of it? This reminds me of flying or gliding on the air. Beautiful! Please, please keep on teaching!! I will be joining you to learn! This is good for everyone to learn, but not all will want to, of course. Some will watch and some will dance. Works out quite well in the end. Your music choices are absolutely perfect. *Even though the woman goes 'back on the right foot' it works out for me because in Tap dancing we begin on the right foot. So I got used to using that leg first. Dancing brings such joy to everyone and music is what they call "The Universal language"
Nice to hear that you like dancing to. I danced Jazz ballet for many years. But about the basic step. I start with my right leg to the back. So than you start with your left leg to the front ;) But if you go to a Tango salon. The lady never knows wat will happen. So I really have to let here feel that trough my torso. So that is why the weight is by both a little to the front and if she not feel is. She wil do nothing :)))))))
@@selmarduinofficial Ok I see, if at the Tango salon, the male should lead at that point with the torso and the female follows, knowing then which way will be next? That explains how the dance would continue. It is a beautiful dance when I have watched you dancing it with a partner in other vlogs. TY for answering, Selmar.
