For all of us who were at the Dallas performance 5/4/24, this song will forever hit so much harder. It started absolutely pouring during “Rain” and when I say I have never felt so connected to an audience, a band, the earth, the universe. It was life altering. (No pun intended.)

i was near the rail at the front of the stage and i heard the rain come down as he was singing and i got the craziest goosebumps ive ever experienced in my life. It couldnt have been written any better. Dallas was legendary.

This song means so much more to me now. I was at the sleep token performance in Dallas this weekend and from the start of the show there was tons of lightning visibly coming our way. With about 4 songs left it was right above us and thunder and lightning were going crazy, but no rain yet. With rain as the third to last song, not kidding right when they started the song, it began to pour (I was in lawn and wasn’t covered). It was so freaking cool and a guy next to me goes “these motherfers can control the rain now” haha. Rest of the concert was amazing as it stormed. Won’t forget it

I kept hoping and waiting for a better part of year, it's weird but it makes me legit sad that they didnt get to experience it and (admittedly) selfishly get to experience it with us. Like i was so damn invested for their reaction I was even ready to accept it if it's only on their patreon, like let a partnah kno my guys, I'll sign up for a month to watch it. Lol FR tho. I wasn’t a fan of his cover of dark signs either, the auto tune was way too much. Will has great cleans and I don’t understand why he used the auto tune to the degree he did. I know it can be used as a stylistic choice and that’s cool but it was beyond that.

I like it but honestly there's something about his voice in these new covers he's doing with Nik that I'm not a huge fan of? I love Will's soft vocals, but they're almost too soft and too edited for his voice in my opinion. I loved the screams he threw in there, and I appreciate their own take on it, it's just specifically how he's using and editing his voice that I just can't fully get in to. Not a bad cover, just not what I expected from his voice ya know? I still want more though! I'll never turn down a Will Ramos cover.

No it's not. Will's had it up on Patreon since late December/early January. Nik has just been re-doing the instrumentals for songs so Will can put them on Spotify.

Nah, it's the other way around (Will did the cover and Nik did the instruments). All the covers that have been out for ages that are now up on Spotify (like Chokehold) say "Will Ramos, Nik Nocturnal". So unless they've been collabing longer than any of us realize...

The " I know I know, the way that it goes" portion was sick. I would have loved if the "darling will you saturate" was a little more true to the original but with some screams ripping out at the end where vessel holds it out. The "just like the rain" after was was pretty sweet though. This is my favorite song and the middle is my favorite part, it makes me a little more critical than I usually am about covers.

The original is my favorite but this is a nice cover. Nik's girlfriend, Paula did the keys. She's a fantastic guitar player too. I love Will's cleans as well as his insane harsh vocals. Im not 100% but i think Nik also did some of the backup vocals.

I think it's to be expected for a cover to be generally inferior to the original. It's very rare for a cover to exceed the quality of the original artist's work, so I personaly never expect that. With that said I enjoy this cover for what it is. Will, as I'm sure he would admit himself, is still far from Vessel's level of skill when it comes to clean singing. On the other hand his voice sounds good enough for me here and I like what he did with the addition of harsh vocals. I think it also blends well with Nik's instrumental. Overall the vocal delivery is not as emotional as the original, and Will messed up a couple of lyrics, but it's a nicely done cover which offers a different feel to the original.

Can't tell if it's AI or not cos it sounds dodgy some parts but yeah the gutteral Screaming ain't for me. I love Will but the screaming in Lorna shore too I just can't listen to it and I like screams. Sounds like the pigs in ender world on minecraft. If Will did more cleans with Lorna shore I'd be on it

I don’t know why people are seeing this as competition? Will and Nik change things to the point they have their own style and sound, as covers should! I like that Will added a little breathiness to it. I felt that was missing from earlier covers I’ve heard. They’re both fans of the band, as am I. Yes, it brings them attention, but it works both ways. I like it.

Wasn't a huge fan of this one if I'm honest. I liked the trail off's on certain words and the odd scream but I much prefered Chokehold and Hypnosis. I respect the man's talent and his infectious enthusiasm for ST and Nik's contribution also but I'd love to hear Will do Vore, The Offering, Higher and Gods as personal favourites. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it though.

I actually think he’s backed off being his previous covers have been hailed as being so good, he doesn’t want to overshadow Vessel. Judging by how amazing his first two covers were, I actually respect him for allowing Vessel to shine and not trying to outdo him. Vessel’s vocals are already some of the most unique I’ve ever heard, Will’s previous covers shocked me at just how good his clean vocals are. I have no doubt he could have nailed this, but chose not to. 👏👏👏

I’m iffy on the video as a whole but I listened to some lorn shore after I put on my big girl pants to listen to his chokehold version (ok, NOT BAD). I want to hear his voice like I did on this. Dude can scream crisp and sing and his scream in shore sells him so, so short. But eh, I’m not into gravel lyrics.

My husband would rather listen to will sing a sleep token song than vessel but it’s mainly because he knows I feel for Sleep token and vessel what he feels for Tool and Maynard. Super strong feelings and very protective…which is why I like to remind him how EVERYONE just about…says that Sleep token reminds them of Tool. lol. But he makes it a point when we are riding together to pretend like he is turning sleep token on for me just so he can see my disappointment when it’s Will instead. With that being said.. this one didn’t really fall on me well. But I love his version of dark signs and hypnosis…he will never compare to vessel but he is by far the best to cover any sleep token song…I usually can’t even make it through the beginning of a sleep token cover…at least I can listen to the whole damn thing when it’s Will.
