Samosas are a tasty Indian snack with a crispy outside and a spicy potato and green pea filling. They are great as a snack, appetizer, or party food. Samosas taste even better when dipped in chutneys or ketchup or with fried green chillies.
Ingredients
For the Dough:
2 cups all-purpose flour/wheat flour
1/4 cup oil or ghee
1/2 tsp carom seeds
Salt to taste
Water as needed
For the Filling:
3-4 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
1/2 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
1-2 green chilies, finely chopped
2-3 finely chopped garlic cloves
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp corianderpowder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
