The nostalgia is real. My dad and I would play this game all the time together. He worked a lot when I was a kid, fulfilling his dream of being a trucker like my grandpa. On the weekends though, we'd push the couch close to the TV, and we'd sit down and play this game together on multiplayer. I remember always being Foley, my dad Bradley. I also strangely remember my dad letting me kill all the goats in that one level because it was fun, then tea bag them (without knowing what I was doing), and we'd both laugh. Regardless of that weird memory, all else is happy. I miss those days. Unfortunately he's getting older, and work is wearing him down. When I actually get to see him on the weekends, he'd rather relax or watch the news. Oh well..

What a great, yet underrated game this was. I loved how you could customize the kit your troops carried, and the great control you had over them. With a bit of practice, you could employ actual infantry / small-unit tactics and rule the day. In fact, the entire "Conflict" series on PS2 had that. I still play them to this day! Plus, being able to play as members of the 22nd SAS Regiment was a huge plus! Who Dares Wins!

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to say this that, that's the best demo in the history of gaming. The atmosphere, they way that they set it up, with them jumping out of the chopper, at the beginning. Just gives me goosebumps everytime I watch it!

I used to play this with a friend that died last year. It's cool getting to watch some of the gameplay from it. And I actually like your voice by the way; it's not as loud and obnoxious as the other youtube gamers.

been wondering what this game was called for about 18 years. Kept remembering vivid details of it like the "on me, on me" and running along a corridor on the 2nd floor onto a court yard and immediately getting shot at by tanks. Gotta play this again

This is the most nostalgia thing I have come across I remember being 6. Playing this on my dads ps2 and beating the game over and over cause I loved this game. I still have the original copy of the game my dad bought in my games collection.

Just started playing this again on PS2 got this and the second one just full of nostalgic moments like the Cavalry Charge mission that I always dread playing lol. Hands THE BEST army/military game I have ever played and yes kids that includes your precious call of duty.

The sound of the treads and then the turrets moving are so vivid even after not playing for years!

What a good game. I really enjoyed sneaking through this entire base. Time consuming, but satisfying. How enjoyable it was crawling through the dry ravine, sneaking past the BMP and springing Foley free.

I think that this was my first shooter game ever... I completely forgot about it until 2 days ago when images of it started coming back to me. All I did was search up "Desert Storm video game" and this is the first one that popped up. So glad I found it, so many memories.

THE MEMORIES OMFG

Still remember playing this in my dining room as a middle school student while my kitchen was being rebuilt. I remember coming down every morning and excitedly turning on my computer. I remember one morning coming downstair to the news we had invaded Iraq, and the war had started. That was one intense game that day.

I guess this is a good place to say it: i'm actually planning on doing a Remake of CDS i thought you guys might be interested^^

Me and my cousin used to play this game, and we loved it. I always played as John Bradley (for obvious reasons) and my cousin played as Paul Foley (He rocks with the sniper rifles in this game.) we eventually beat the game, but we always feared the tanks when we saw them. one particular mission we nearly lost to them, and was a bit intense. we had been playing the same mission for about half an hour, and we had gotten low on ammo, and out of medkits (thanks to my cousin wasting them >->) Conners and Jones were dead, so we basically had no backup. Out of RPG ammo, we had to run around the map hoping to God that we don't get sniped or blown up while we look for a RPG. We eventually find one, take out the tank, and had to use whatever ammo we could find to fend of whatever else tried to kill us. We completed the mission, gave ourselves a pat on the back, had a 6 second funeral for the other two squad members, and called it a night. good times. good, stressful times.

I miss this game

I just downloaded a PS2 emulator and was browsing through games I could download, then when I saw this title my jaw dropped! I forgot about this game completely but I still have very vivid memories of playing co-op with my friend around 2005-2006.
