11:30 again, watching Ian's raw determination to use every resource the game gives him to traverse is just so cool. He should just get the triple jump at this point because he's clearly just making his own triple jumps.

I think it was at this point that I realized why the Spirit Tree of Nibel made the mistakes it did in the first game. I think it's safe, a year later, to say this. My theory is that it didn't know about Kuro and her eggs to be careful of them because they weren't from Nibel; Kuro was a giant owl of Niwen, who fled with her eggs when the decay started there. Not even Sein knew who or what she was from before she showed up enraged at the light ceremony, they just called her "Her."

You know, most gaming channels do the thing where they try to keep talking in order to keep the viewers' attention, but if there was a time to *not* do that in this game, it would be on the first venture into the silent woods.

For sure. I'm super late to the party, but it sucks that these guys *constantly* talk about completely unrelated things instead of thinking about the game. People watch Let's Plays to see the game and the player's reaction, not to hear a 30 minute talk show about whatever random crap pops into their mind every day.

I disagree. I think the silent woods are the creepiest area in the game. That spider area is pathetic. And boring. And annoying.

Are you thinking of the thing with the map stone? That just reveals hidden areas -- it doesn't actually indicate what's inside them.
