Episode 104: Dire teaches us that when you move a train, it will face the direction you're facing. Episode 105: Dire spends 2 minutes trying to figure out why the train faces the wrong way when moving it. RU-vidr Brain is totally a thing, and it is hard to both tell others and remember what you told others at the same time.

Half his series run times is him "trying to make it look nice" and getting complained at by people in the comments hitting him with "not good enough" Personally I miss when dire didn't really care and lived in cobblestone 9x9s and everything was 1 building. At least back then he knew the mods and actually knew what he was doing...god that sounds harsh
@@Mar10K0ng I agree dire can do better but I get tired of dire focusing on visuals over function Dire used to find fun ways mods interacted and would exploit them...now he tries not to? Even in his "let lose" season. Oh and make no mistake I love old man died. His 1.6.4 series is what got me to buy Minecraft way back when
Hey dire when you place the train in future it will always place the way your players is facing from back to front and the boiler is not required for the steam whistle on the locomotive
As I learned from Soaryn, don’t use wandering traders as conductors, they will despawn after a time, use aquatic mobs for underwater trains, and yes, even the wither can be a conductor. A dragon causes problems. Also until a bug is fixed, add a single station after returning from the nether and add it to the schedule, on a track setup which has junctions. Trains are known to get lost.
Yes don't use Wandering Traders as Conductors. Dire wants to kill them and their annoying llamas anyway! Can you imagine him getting annoyed every time he hears the llama noises?
I'm sure you know about all the cart mods but it would be cool to see carts that need resources & have upside down/sideways carts or something (so you could put rails on the ceiling or walls)
@@mi1t4nk That is some interesting ideas,! I would like to see more of a variety of carts instead of just a minecart, and then a minecart with a furnace. An upside down cart on the ceiling would be crazy, and could be a unique cart type. You could also create like a small train of carts, etc... an actual mob cart instead of just trapping them in a regular cart, etc
if you put saws instead of harvesters for your sugar cane, it will harvest all block above the one being broken properly (putting the items into the chest), otherwise the blocks break and drop their items on the ground, in the case of 3-tall sugar cane. This is also valid for cactus.
Always check the milestone recipes, sugar for example is the same output as the grind stones so its always better to use the milestone - less stress and far more compact
I suggest you use the pneumaticcraft drones to do a part as well. Just for sh*** and giggles and to mix it up a bit. Maybe the milking of the cows would be a convinient part to use them ;)
I love the mountain village in the background with a great architectural design style. Then Dire makes a train... Joking of course, but It does make me want to integrate mine colonies with create trains to build a vast city.

Hey Dire, next time try placing the crushing wheels horizontally. That way you don't have to worry about lifting up the items, they can just pass straight through on a belt! Lovin the videos as always :)

I almost kind of regret that everyone on my server picked islands to live on, would have been cool to have a train scheduled to run between all our houses.
