@@TheRPGBlender this dudes right, I have been looking arround at a bunch of paranoia vids and yours definitely goes most in depth on rules. Skorokowsky did a good overview but nothing this in depth on gming. Keep it up 👌 Also your production quality is really impressive for such a small channel (no offense) earned my sub.
Thank you so much! Seth Skorkowsky does a great job of introducing systems, especially with his use of the side scenes as examples. Someone I can definitely learn from! We may be small, but I do my best to keep the production as good as I can. Lots to learn still, but the goal is always to improve with the next one! So thank you for the kind words!
Absolutely! While the cards are a good unique mechanic, you could absolutely use a more standard initiative/action system, though the game doesn't provide one. For our actual play I skipped the cards, in favor of weaving combat sections into the roleplay - no initiative or combat rounds, just switching between the PCs as was natural, with the NPC actions being the result of failed PC rolls
You could always get a previous edition instead. There’s 1st Edition, 2nd Edition, and XP Edition. There is no 5th Edition. Anyone who says otherwise is guilty of treason.
