Lets save this set! Lego Hulkbuster 76164 Rework Series Ep 3 

Hope you all enjoy this quick rework of the 76164 hulkbuster set! Nothing like a little fix to the waist. Though this removes the waist articulation but i think its a fair tradeoff :D Enjoy the weekends!

funny how only slight modifications make this set so much better, this is why lego shouldn't budget cut their mech by removing knee joints.

This looked quite terrifying from the start, but at the end it was totally different

The waist change is legendary, it makes that pancake headpiece look incredible and comic accurate and it gives it that beautiful hunched back

I think lego failed when the hadn't have ironman in a uncomfortable position. Great build, I think they should've made a new peice for the helmet peice if to make it more comic accurate.

You should do an X-Men Sentinel. I bet that would be awesome considering all the mechs you have made!

OMG that is sooo good. Can you make a list of the extra parts that you need to use to make the mod? Please also make an alternate build of the Flaming Foundry, it just bothered me because when I first saw that set, I thought that it was full of different elements to make a awesome alternate build, and i thought "I bet Chubbybots made a alternate build of it." Just a question. Do I need parts that aren’t in the set

Its amazing what just a rework of the posture of a mech changes in terms of the over all feel of it, that and a change of the distance between shoulders. it made it from looking like someone squished the Hulkbuster's head and upper torso as if someone dropped a loony toons' anvil ontop of it, to a brute of a machine ready to fight.

You deserve more subs the things you do for these sets are great

Finally someone who fixed this set that didnt change the head

For the legs of the Hulkbuster, I would use a pair of small ball joints-for articulation to the knees, but overall-the build mod is really spectacular👍👍👍.

I bought this set today and instead of building the waist and arms as the instructions told me, I went ahead and built the modifications seen in this video, except the upper arm detail, I kept that as the set's.

Great build. Me and my nephews love watching your builds. My 10 year old is asking, why his big toes on the outside? Made me laughed he is so observant. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 eight thumbs up.

Gave the waist mod a try on the red disc used for articulation, only adds roughly a brick’s worth of height but makes it look so much better!

Holy cow! It looks so much better than the original! I don't understand why they decided to use the TIE fighter window instead of the old dome, but your build definitely saves the set!

The "bowed form" makes the pancake face look less bothering than it should be.

Nice at least now Tony can see what is before him, and not only what is on the ceiling.

So your solution wasn't to swap out the head, but instead fixed up the waist and shoulders to make the head look like it belonged there. I'm impressed. It looks so good!
