I actually preferred the original legs, but the changes to the torso are basically perfect. I was already super happy with this set, but now I'm going to have to consider tweaking it!
I really like the idea of how they built the chest, with the two angled sections using the low windscreen pieces. But the execution is weird, and it makes the thing waaay too wide for how short it is. The no knees (a growing trend in Lego’s mechs) is also mind boggling. But it’s good that they’re basically giving modders parts to make their own better sets with.
I like the idea of extending the dome down by adding onto the head attachment. I'm definitely going to incorporate that into the mod once I get the set, I just need to figure a way to jerry-rig knee articulation with the spare pieces I have in my collection.
this is the first hulkbuster version that doesn't need to be modded because it looks so good. I have the original first release (76031) and think all versions up to the current one have been a bit of a learning curve from Lego's side.
His biggest problem is that his torso was to big for his legs. Small modifications won’t do much, you have to completely rebuild his legs, otherwise he looks very cartoonish😢
i wanted to go for something simple for this one. There will be a rework version for this which should bring it much closer to what we get in the movie
Nice modifications. I especially like the fact you made the waist swivel. Feels like they really missed a trick there. The LEGO articulation looks good too, but I wish there was a way to keep a little more of the original details in them. Thanks for sharing this, will be making some of these amends to mine.
@@Chubbybots Ah, from the original model, the arm was already abit out of scale compared to the leg, 0:02 camera angle show this very clear,. My bad, im sorry, i will edit my above comment so it doesn't look like i have falsely accused you :))) ( edit part: another thing makes your modified legs look shorter than original is because the knees were bending already in the original modal, so and those mechanical arms (6262193) at the knees create an illusion of longer legs.)
You should consider doing Lego ASMR, such as the sound of moving your hand around a full Lego bin and constructing random things with Lego. Many people like the sound Lego makes, such as me. Love your work anyways!
En mi opinión creo que el torso es muy corpulento en comparación a las piernas pero me encanta esa modificacion que le hiciste en especial la del torso
I think you should’ve just added the waist swivel and made simpler knee joints because the proportions were alreasy golden and now it just looks like he ate a load of beef
I can live with the torso but I really like articulation in any figures I get I understand their are limits to Lego but no knee bend just bugs me I'm definitely gonna this or find some way to add knee bend to him
The torso looks nicely upgraded, but for the legs, u feel it’s too short. I’d recommend having the legs be at least same length as the arms to even it out
Where can one find those extra pieces? Could you give sets examples that contain them? I can't name them and I can't order parts in my country. It'll be very helpful to link sources for the extra parts. Very nice mod!
I still dont like the lego design. The torso makes the leg stick out too much. Is it possible to change to rachet joints to ball joints. This will make it look like the legs are part of the body and some joint accessory
