I got the select cut mower,just picked up the 15” trimmer and the edger, this blower is next on my list!!! What I like the most is no more buying or mixing gas, no odor and most importantly no crazy amount of noise, ego products runs so quiet . If you are thinking about it. Just go for it.
The turbo feature is only basically used for when you're all done clean off your property and you want to blow the rest of the grass and leaves onto your neighbor's lawn that's when the Turbo button comes in really helpful so you can get out of there as fast as possible😉👊
Hahahaha, I will definitely be blowing grass, sand and leaf's in the neighbor's driveway any chance i get. Your right though. I wouldn't use it all the time as the high is powerful enough for just about everything. Would be great for stubborn wet debris though 👊
I've had one for 5 years. I also bought the hedge trimmer and the carbon fiber string trimmer with the autoload feature. They're all awesome. The batteries are still working great - I have three 2.5 AH batteries and three chargers. You're right, once you use a tool immediately charge the battery if it's spent. I rotate all three batteries to keep them all about the same "freshness". Turbo on the blower is amazing, especially for moist grass clippings. Blows snow off the car in the winter, water off the car after a wash, and i use it to blow the sawdust off of my tools and out of my workshop.
I had the 21 inch select lawnmower works as good as any lawnmower I have ever had take that advice from a retired commercial gardener left it at the big grass area home I used to own moving to Texas will purchase the whole line once my new home is built never could imagine that I would be saying this about battery operated lawn equipment thanks for the video
I'm developing a love for Ego. 65+ and wanted a mower that I knew would start as my time came in spurts and spring demands "now" to cut. I bought a new mower (I usually go 2nd hand/refurbished). Wow, to know it would start each time in itself was great. Now the cut is a bit choppy, I"m learning to keep the mower head down which helps. That said, I invested in a string trimmer (have been using the toy Aldi the past 4 years) Wow AGAIN and so now I can count on enough battery should I dally along. With that much experience, I had a warrantee issue....NOT AN ISSUE and received a replacement battery in about 10 days. Mower is on it's 3rd season, trimmer...first season and so.....I bought a blower. It hasn't arrived but I have visions of the gutter cleaning accessory and tip accessory for blowing snow off the walk.
Love this blower. It is the bomb for sure. Performs better than any blower we have ever owned. Yay!! Makes our lives so much easier. Thanks for the review.❤️
I just got this blower want to make one thing clear to everyone considering this purchase. You will get 20 minutes on the stock battery. Which is 2.5 amps. This is at the high setting not the turbo setting. If you hit the turbo button quite a bit you're looking at 10 minutes. It's very tempting to hit the turbo button because the power is significantly more than high. I just wanted to point this out because the 90 minute battery time the manufacturer advertises is nonsense for practical purposes. Notwithstanding the battery times, it's a good blower for light yard work. I ended up getting a gas Backpack Blower for the big jobs around the house.

I love the e-Go brand. But would also love to see them offer up an e-bike kit off the shelf brick and mortar. Certainly a 20" or 26" 750v48/56v would be legal in all 52 states. Create jobs
I love my blower. It’s also great for drying off my truck after a wash. Im going to try this for blowing leaves instead of raking when they start falling.
check Home Depot quickly you may be able to still order off the site. If you want to get in on the Ego line, do what i did, get a REFURBISHED snowblower, even if you are down south. You will get 2 5ah batteries and a quick charger with the blower for 420 bucks. Can't beat that as an entry point. Then try to resell the snowblower as a stand alone for like 200. They dont always have refurbished machines so keep checking.
Yes I just got this blower and I was blown away with the easy control and power. I use the rapid charger that came with th he EGO 21 Mower. It's a must have.

You could actually really see how thick the grass is in the center of the driveway out of all the products that is sold if I was to purchase a lawn care company it would definitely be the ego my next thing I would like to purchase is a snowblower and I'm not sure if I want to go gas or battery but I'm really leaning more towards battery operated

My dad bought one of those this summer and it’s great for people with really thick lawns to help blow piles of mowed grass out into the road where traffic helps break it down and makes it biodegrade very quickly.

I have been using the 530 CFM blower for the past 5 years. The 650 CFM blower was on a BF sale a couple of weeks ago, so I thought "Why not upgrade?" Well, I used the new blower for about 2 hrs total over the course of a few days (i.e., drying the car, cleaning up the last remaining leaves in the back yard, etc.) and then, it just stopped (Battery was near a full charge, and installing other batteries didn't change the result). From studying a few videos, it looks like the controller blew a fuse or a MOSFET died. It appears this failure is not an isolated case, either. Oh well, returned to Lowes for a full refund. At least the 530 CFM blower soldiers on!
I have the EGO backpack blower and love it. All these blowers are just getting better and better. I am happy with EGO. I also have the rapid charger and it is a big difference. Seemed to work well, even in that moist weather
That is most important to work well in the Moistest of weather lmao. I haven't tried the EGO Backpack blower, but my brother picked it up last month and says he loves it
@@rconn4501 I just bought the lawn care products for myself because my 85 year old father swears by his blower snowblower purchased from Costco. (I believe.) He absolutely loved it!! He has an immense amount of snow in Northern MN and he bought an extra battery also and is very happy with being able to clear the sidewalks and front yard.

The blower is a beast the trimmer is lightweight very easy to hit the cracks that you want and my mower just came today so I will half to wait for the grass to grow before I can get to that but overall quite confident in the brand so between all three item cost is at 1,200 but it was quality I was looking for and I feel good about my purchases.
It’s a insane leaf blower, I had a 100 mile an hour craftsman and the battery is bad and it doesn’t do much, I’ve had it for max a year, I’ve had more leaf blowers in my day but then I tried this ego months ago and man I’d it the best leaf blower I’ve ever ever tried, also great review!
The weed eater and chainsaw are fantastic! The ego leaf blower seems to over use the batteries in my opinion and I dont even use my turbo button. The battery last a lot longer in the weedeater than the chainsaw and leaf blower though. I have a 2.5 ah batt and 1.5.
Will say that the run times are with a 5ahr battery and if you use a 7.5ahr will get way much more run time. But most of the time you will not need turbo as it has much power but comes in handy at times.
Did anyone notice a little too much play on the shaft that is attached to the tool. Mines seems to have some extra play but so far its been ok. I was just wondering if all of them were made like that.
EGO is a Home Depot brand like Ryobi. I think it's a good brand with outstanding tools. The batteries fit across the platform and are reasonably priced. If you have a couple of fast chargers and a few batteries you are good to go! I haven't seen an EGO device that I thought was junk, so there's that...
You can buy them on Amazon and Acme tools as well. Acme is always sold out and Amazon is more expensive though, so Deeps would definitely b👊e the way to go
EGO is no longer being sold at Home Depot. After they sell existing stock you will have to go to Lowes. Now might be a chance to catch a sale at Home Depot if any are left.
I like the Ego but I think its way more than I will ever need. I dont have that much of a lawn so I think something smaller would probably work better for me.
This is their beast 650 CFM version. You can get their smaller 530 CFM blower. This way you're into a GREAT ecosystem and can handle bigger projects (in the future).
What about wet leaves? anything can blow grass from a driveway. Leaves in my yard can't be done 30 minutes at a time, and I need some kind of shoulder strap. 13 pounds gets heavy for a 5 foot tall woman. I think I'll have to pass, but I appreciate your video!
We purchased the Ego LB6500 leaf blower with 56V CH2100 battery - NOT HAPPY! It runs for a few minutes then shuts off. Starts right back. Shuts off. Over and over. Apparently this is a known problem with the battery. It does come with a warranty and you have to call and go through about a 30 minute to 1 hour wait to speak with someone (yes I tried leaving my name & number for a call back but they never called me back). Once you finally speak with someone they want to go through the whole troubleshooting process. After waiting 45 minutes to speak with someone I asked if we could skip the troubleshooting because I didn't have time (I do have to work!) and the condescending person said no basically. So I guess I'll have to take some vacation time to call. SIGH. I told him tell management if they have a known problem just send a replacement for goodness sake. So tired of these huge companies jerking customers around. EGO I HOPE YOU READ THESE COMMENTS.

LMAO While I agree the EGO seems amazing I'm stuck with the Gnome's 36V version ('cause I'm stuck with their batteries but don't tell him that)… That said, the Gnomes version does the job and it's got enough power to blow over patio furniture so MPH or CFM or whatever the metric is ain't an issue for me. I still have to come down on the side of go with whatever battery brand you are stuck with as I'm sure the Dewalt or Milwaukee or whatever brand are PDG. Great to see the other stuff nonetheless so keep 'em coming and thanks!
The turbo power rating on the EGO overstates the true steady state power of this blower. This is a 500 CFM blower that allows for medium duration use at 650 CFM, and you have to continuously hold the turbo button down to tap that 650 CFM. If it was truly a 650 CFM blower then I guess it would have allow one to set it at 650 CFM for continuous use. I have a Husqvarna 350CBT and it VASTLY outperforms this blower. Why? Because it's rated at 690 CFM and you don't have to hit a turbo button to tap those CFMs! The EGO is perfectly fine for blowing grass off concrete or clearing a few leaves out of the garage, but not so great for blowing fall leaves off the lawn, or blowing mud scrapings created by my edger off the curb. I find myself grabbing my Husqvarna for those jobs. So, I'm not giving up my gas blower just yet. As a side, I have an Ego 21" self-propelled mower for the fescue portion of my yard and absolutely love it. I can't wait to go all battery as I like the less noise generated by the battery tools, but the performance of this Ego blower is not quite there yet.
my 7.5ah battery takes about 45 minutes in my rapid charger. I have heard, though, that rapid chargers are harder on the batteries - not sure if that's truth, though ??
I bought a $250 EGO leaf 🍁 blower and a small leaf branch got sucked into the blower filter chamber that little tiny leaf 🍁 branch shredded the paper thin blower fins that are made of plastic not metal and now that $250 blower is useless and EGO they don’t sell parts for their equipment.

buy ego 650 cfm no battery, buy the back pack with 7 mini amps whatever, buy a panduit or a flexible tube, long enough to reach the backpack to the blower, calculating arm distance, now wire up the back pack to the connection battery poinit on the blower. do it dude
Honest review of the 36v makita and dewalt 70v comparison would be nice. Oh and makita has a new model I can't find to buy I thing it may be there new 40v.
I have owned the original hand held ego blower for several years now. I just wished they had a way to lock down the turbo button so you didn’t have to keep your thumb pressed on it all the time. Also if you are doing a lot of work with the hand held blower it can get a bit tiring on one arm. You will often feel the urge to switch hands especially if you use the larger battery 🔋 as I often do allowing me to get longer run time. Otherwise, I love this product.
And have you ran a full battery on Turbo Mode ? Seen issues with battery overheating on it. And how is customer service with failures of products ? And how many charging cycles are batteries good for ?
I have the same problem with my gas & my electric chain saws. I started turning the screw to tighten the chain earlier, after 10 - 15 minutes max intervals
Hi, is the long blower tube suppose to be hard to put in and out? I just got mine and it seems like I need to put a lot of force to place it in and can't pull it out easily its really stuck in there and I am afraid to pull it, because the base black tube of where the long tube get connected (where the motor is) is a bit jiggly/loose, wanted to make sure it's how it suppose to be? Brushed tools have what are called (brushes) that wear down iver time and need replaces. Its cheap and easy to do, but Brushless tools you never need to change anything. Many times, the Brushless tools run better, and have more power as well
Do NOT waste your money on this garbage. I have eaten candy bars that last longer. If you want to blow out the bed of a truck its fine. If you want to blow leaf piles around and don't live in a town house seek a solution elsewhere or be prepared to buy a lot of very expensive batteries.
