Thank you for sharing this pattern and for your lovely, easy to understand video. I really like the way you take your time, as so many video tutorials rush through and I find myself having to keep pausing them while I try to keep up. I made the headscarf for a 1940s dance video I was asked to take part in and I love it! We are doing a lot of work in our garden at the moment, putting up and painting fences and pulling down the shed and I’ve been wearing the headscarf to keep spiders and other nasty creepy crawlies off my hair. It’s so comfy that I usually forget to take it off when I’m finished 😊
Had a bit of trouble downloading the pattern to the right size (hate to admit I had to enlist my husbands help in the end) But, now I've made it up and I LOVE IT! Thank you Miss Libby Rose.
Thank you Miss Libby Rose, I have fuchsia hair too....and with no hair help open at this time I have been making all kinds of hair cover ups. With the summer coming on I was looking for a cooler option than the ones I’ve already done. Your land girl scarf is awesome, I did it in double gauze so breathable for summer. You rock!🤗
Hello lovely. I'm super inspired by your lovely land girl head scarf and would love to have a go at making some for myself. I've just been diagnosed with breast cancer and will start chemo soon, so im preparing for hair loss!. Do you have a link to purchasing the template/pattern please. Many thanks, Mandi. 😊x
Hello thanks for sharing your pattern. I made it in the smaller size and it cam out beautifully thanks to your tutorial. I would love to make it in a large size as I have a lot of hair. Would be great if you are able to do it in extra large. Many thanks
Hello, lovely to hear from you on here. Indeed, it is difficult to offer one size pattern that can guarantee to fit everyone, especially as I tried to create this out of one piece of fabric and no seams within the fat quarter. Thanks for asking for this.. Check out the post I did for Hobbycraft, I created the larger pattern for them and it is on this post below, but you may have to add an extra seam.
