You need to feed 1500x a day, as much as you can put it in the tank in one hour, twelve times a day under a blue and red moon on the south side of the earth's spherical rotational, fish...
A lot of people see just the mucous being produced as worms, that mucous is normal as it helps poop come out. Sometimes fish just produce a lot potentially due to what they have actually been fed. I agree there likely is worms, most animals have worms and worms can have benefits it just depends on how many and if they are under any stress.
Only masters of fish keeping de worm there fish at this point. It solves later down the road issues 😂 monitoring a fish is fine for seeing what’s outside. You can’t see inside and can be delivered as hell 😂 always de worm 🪱 and wipe clean 🧽
Oh man glad you have read my comment in the last video😢. Clearly worms. Clean the entire tank with a cloth and glycerine. Empty tank ofcourse 😊 remember their eggs are on the bottom of the tank. Fish can eat that.
It is actually fascinating! So people thought that his poo yesterday was an actual worm coming out of his butt? So in order to see what was really going on, you captured one of his poops, and checked it under one of your two microscopes? And when you did that you were able to see what looked like a worm moving from place to place. Which means that it was clearly Tiny if it had to be seen under a microscope. Which also means that you are a bad ass fish keeper and you are willing to track down to and analyze it in a scientific manner. and as a result of this you have decided to go with the entire tank so that you can clear up any problems that runt is experiencing and/or prevent or treat any other worm poop related problems in the rest of your fish? Am I following along OK? I just want to tell you that I’m really impressed with you💕
The other explanation is "people thought a poo hanging from his butt was worms so in order to prove them wrong I broke a microscope and used another one to actually see that there were worms, just not the ones people thought, so I still have to eat humble pie on a technicality!" I prefer your description!!
I first bred and raised Discus in the mid-seventies and, apart from stringy poop, a classic sign of internal problems is juveniles becoming stunted or having the classic knifed head (too often seen in shops selling Discus!). I treat such symptoms firstly with dewormer followed by an anti-internal bacterial medication if there is no improvement in the situation (ditto with Angels). Nice follow up video?
To avoid all the problems linked to discus diseases (worms, hexamita and flagellates) there are breeders (I don't know if there are any in the United Kingdom) who produce parasite-free discus. Find out :)
Worming medicine do NOT kill the eggs. A second treatment is advisable after two weeks, to allow eggs to hatch and get to these worms before they are egg laying adult. Worms are NOT THAT EASY to eradicate……AND they are very slow to kill. Keep us informed. Good luck.
