That was the main reason we decided not to team there, the miles look good from what you’ve been saying, but they only wanted to give us 60cpm base with mileage bonus over 5k miles which a lot of other companies offer as well. Sorry CBT we wanted to roll heavy with you. We went with FedEx ground doing that mail freight.
Got a budy getting 26% local fuel haueler he seems to be happier than the cpm deal hes home daily/weekends... its all about consistent miles or daily targets... cpm/miles are great when its consistent or hot monthky goals 10-12k miles steadily for otr... anyways, he liking the % pay system end of day as long as it works for you and carrier is respecting your time your good
Being happy at a Company makes the Family happy.. Making .75 a mile isn’t going to make you or your family happy if you’re only getting say 2000 or 2300 miles a week. We aren’t micro managed. IRT looks out for every driver and they know how you are comfortable driving.
I started out getting paid by the load and then by % and then by the mile and now I get paid salary and that works for me may not work for everyone at the end of the day it's all about what works for you

That’s the world we live in nowadays driver, it’s the hooray for me f you world we live in, when I came into this industry drivers would help each other no questions asked in today’s social media world you’ll see a driver that needs help backing into a spot instead of helping out drivers will pull out their phones too see if said driver is gonna hit something so they can be the 1st to post it on social media Smdh
Man it took some time getting use to but once I did I love it and where we go it don't be crowded so really don't interact with a lot of drivers it just laid back once u get settle in
