Heeeyy. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who watched mi first video. DAMN thanks a lot for the support. Here i go with Elemental now. WARNING: A lot of ugly laughter. Hope you like it guys, thanks again.
The fact, ember and wade were able to touch just shows how close they are. They were both equally in tuned with the action forming a balance that didn’t hurt each other. Great metaphors.
Fun fact: the reason Ember and Wade are able to touch is because of a real-life scientific phenomenon known as the Leidenfrost effect. It's when water like Wade touches a hot surface like Ember, resulting in the creation of a layer of steam like the one you see when they first touch which acts as an insulator for Wade, preventing him from vaporising and by extension, Ember from getting extinguished.
I mean... debatably it DID underperform but not by as much as everyone said in the end. I read as a general rule for a film to be considered a "hit", it's gotta make either double it's budget domestically, quadruple it's budget internationally, or a combination of both. By THAT logic Elemental needs to bring in just a BIT more in theatres to cross that mark.
@@darthvocrum5719 It was certainly a success, which is awesome and proves that they were right to stick it out in the long run, unlike the Ruby Gillman film which really should've held on longer. When yo break it down though, it's currently at a box office of 154m Domestic and 332M international. Based on the math stated before, that comes to about a profit of 160M against at 200M budget. NOW i'm sure when you factor in merch and Digital purchases it'll come to a profit overall, AND I certainly don't think this needs to be a franchise, but when you're spending that much on a film (LARGELY because Pixar pays more, mind you), they'd really need a theatrical earning of 400 Mill Domestic alone, OR 800 Mill International or a combination of the two to be considered a success
Hiiii Asheen. You have beautiful names, btw 😉. Thank you so much for your comment. I'm happy you enjoyed it as much. I don't really have a proper twitter for now. If I get one I will link it. Hope you have a great day ❤️❤️
@@elizabethscrib Treasure planet The emperor's new groove Atlantis the lost empire All great movies. All flopped at the box office. If you haven't seen any of them you should check them out. 😁
