Yay for a new upload!!! I am so sorry that Aliens was such a dud for you! 😢 I have been wanting to read We Spread for AGES. I have heard so many great things about it. What an unsettling book!

@@museumgrackreads I have a friend who went door to door canvassing with her neighbors in her midwestern town and it made a huge difference in the last election. Many of her neighbors did not have the correct facts on the state of the economy or various cases in front of the Court etc. I would encourage you (if something you're able to do) to phone bank and canvas, for the candidates, referendums and proposals you want to back. 2016 came down to votes in 3 counties.
I read that Goddess of Filth book by V Castro and it was definitely a frustrating read with poor execution. I suspect this is an author I won’t really vibe with and should probably avoid
Ooof I worry too but since I’ve already purchased a second book by miss Castro I should probably attempt one more time with her I think On a Sunbeam was lovely it just didn’t eek out enough for me to want to reread it so it just didn’t quite hit that 4star rating. I’m sad about it too. My September was chaos so it may have impacted my overall thoughts on it 🤷🏻♀️ Unsettling is the best possible word to describe We Spread. It put me on edge and kept me there
