@@lenep9985 drilled discs don't help you stop any quicker. They just help the brakes cool faster. Grooved discs however, they probably would help a fair bit with something this fast. But then you'd be replacing pads way more often
@Adam Naperty it's a very rare occurrence that not wearing a seatbelt is beneficial. 99% of the time, probably more, a seatbelt will prevent injury rather than cause it

It depends on the car. RWD is a different story. I let my mate do a pull in my Stage 2 E92 M3 and the moment the back twitched for a split second he slowed down and got out.
@@RobertM92 That just shows that people are the root cause! Your mate was conscious whereas most people would've done it again and eventually fail. There are people who try to learn things in the right time/situation but the majority just thinks like "I got to go 100% on it straight away" and that's just stupid.

I’ve been back at it every second I’ve had chance today and they’re ALL so far SO relevant (bar the batty ’Busa engine in a 3-wheeled kart!) 😁 I had a Grey 2013 Scirocco R DSG called Dex, one of the last 3 direct from Germany in Grey which at the time wasn’t an option in the U.K. for the R, and I had him via a stage 2 running at around 330, and he was nuts fun; the least FWD-like FWD I’ve ever driven to be fair, so I’d love to try the 4WD in th’Golf R 😍 Dex was one of the last before they ‘discontinued’ it (for a year; sales strategy to get people on the new Golf R at th’time of it’ rebirth from the R32) and I often lament for the dude when I see them, and th’Golf, out and about. The VW DSG system in Dex was also what converted me to automatic systems, after I’d swapped out a manual 2011 Scirocco GT 180 called Zeenah, in viper-green for him (I couldn’t deal in real-life with the ‘frugal’ aim of a diesel and much as I love a turbo, I prefer my power lower-down and more readily accessible!), and I fell in love with the gearbox 🙌🏼😍😁 Anywho, another kickass, adrenaline/nostalgia boostish-bonanza of a video! 😁Cheers, chaps 🙌🏼👍🏼 (I edited again 🙄) Stalk officially over 🤔👍🏼😂

Nice car there man and yeh like you say you don't know your going that fast on a high powered car till ya look at the clock and then you realised how fast your going and when you in a fast car the temptation of going fast is to easy for us guys who like to go fast and the main road hing is to drive safe and have respect of other drivers and theres always track days and drag strips to go too and have some fun but great video and a very nice car there Jamie
no my good man the problem with the golf r is that it is called a 'golf' and it is a peoples car i.e. VW. does not matter if it has a real 400 horsepower it is still a boring car aka easy to drive
