Have some updates on the 1-4.5 , we will do a follow up 12 on it soon ! Pro tip - When zeroing the 1-4.5 go ahead and remove windage cap, remove windage turret and use a flathead or coin to zero windage, or it is likely you’ll run out of windage before getting it zeroed .
@@sc6802 still testing. So far I like it more than I originally did. Found some sort of light film almost grease like substance was on the lenses. So I got it to clear up optically. So far so good. That said, I still don’t see the point in the 1-4.5 . The 2-10 has been fine. I’ll be revisiting these soon enough.
It’s 2024. Leupold introduces a 2-10 with no parallax adjustment & trash reticles throughout the entire line up. You can see with how big Holosun & Olight have gotten, being “Made in America” is no longer a selling point… people don’t care. They should take a page from Stanley (yes, seriously). They need to realize it’s a new generation of shooters with exceptional purchasing power that demand certain features (like ranging in the reticle/ACSS type) & won’t hesitate to dismiss legacy “fuddish” manufacturers.
Paying 2k-2500k for a mark5 and getting the plastic flip caps was a huge let down. For that price they should be putting the aluminum covers in the box
You guys should check out the Meopta 3-18x50 mrad rd, it’s a little heavy and long but it’s European glass and I love the reticle, kind of an underrated scope company
“With out actually seeing one” lol.. The 4.5-18x52 and 6-24x52 seem like the sweet spots for PRS or NLR Hunter competition types or wish to be’z. They do what the Mark 5 can do for $1,000 less
