@@MidwestDIY Yeah he's a beast as well, and I think Vitaly put up the best resistance against Levan from what I have seen. Definitely made Levan work round 1, but at the same time it's kind of sad that that's best resistance I have seen. Show's you how dominant Levan really is. Insane. Dennis on heavy heavy PEDS over 300 pounds with a lot of practice matches before hand is the only chance against Levan at the moment I think. Even then he might not even win a round, but it's the only chance of someone beating him for now.
@@sgminty5455I agree, and to be honest it's probably not worth even trying to challenge Levan considering how bad his health was before. He didn't seem far from death honestly. There's a lot of pressure on him to be the one to challenge Levan though, so it's going to be a personal choice for Dennis.

@william julianelle why would it be a bad choice when doctors gave him a green signal already? I mean if they allow him then why not he is the only one who can win over levan if he is at 92-95% close to his peak.

You keep hearing that about Vitaly. He’s just way way bigger than people realize and prob more natty at that point than 95+% of those top guys. Educated assumption he more natty, but no doubt he’s big as hell.
seen this a yr ago and just watched the Devon vs Levan match as well, dominant 6-0 for Levan; he's on another lvl BUTT I feel like if Vitaly really worked for the number one spot, he'd definitely be able to beat Levan, a HUGEEEEEEE task but I would love to see it, WHO'S WITH MEEE
Vitaly is the only one who can beat him. But he needs to bulk up more and actually compete. The issue with him is that he is a part time arm wrestler, doesn't do enough matches.
Levan is a weight lifter, big shoulders, this is his best. Vitaly is a worker who lift weights below his shoulders. Vitaly has a long way to evolve physically.

In my opinion I think that this first round was more impressive than whhat ermes did round one in the levan match. Vitaly stopped the match purly in the center round 1.
In peak form Vitaly is definitely number 2, but he has been off for a while, he dropped weight from 140kg to 129kg which was when he lost to dmitry. he is a truck driver and their country is in a crisis, hope he comes back to his peak.
@@Jordan-vr7ip Ive noticed their all heavier than they look. I'm a bodybuilder so I can pick a bodybuilders weight but they are very lean, these guys carry more fat.

@@glenns001 yeah Levan is about 20kg heavier than he was as well now. So 45 pounds for my American friends. So hopefully Devon has enough Grunt to stop the match in time.
@@cornedenecker1636 to be fair that much weight gain must also put a divot in endurance. Imo strength will just barely give Devon enough to stay in and the deciding factors will become technique and stamina, which might give Devon edge. It all just depends if he can stop the press.

Vitaly gave Levan a much better match than Chaffee did but Chaffee beat Vitaly... Is this due to a battle of styles or was Chaffee simply stronger on the day he faced Vitaly than he was when he faced Levan? Would Chaffee today give Levan a better match? Chaffee does look bigger today than when he faced Levan but then again, that could also be Levan making Chaffee look smaller when standing together in the same shot. lol
I could be mistaken but I think Vitaly was focusing on his day job more in the past couple of years and not arm wrestling as much. I suspect he is in better shape in this video.
Holy smokes he’s strong. Maybe he would give prime voevoda a run for his money. Armwrestlers these days are so much harder to beat than past armwrestlers. The training they have, they deserve more money.
Noone has made Levan strugggle this much in the first round... Vitaly is truly special..If he had a bit more side pressure..he would've been able to beat him right there...

yes on this video at that time, he seems to be pretty mobile and not breathing heavy right from the start, now he barely walking and breathing heavy all the time. It wasn't really nessesary to go even more on juice, i feel like this levan on this video would do better against Ermes and same against Larratt.
So many fools here who know nothing about armwrestling talking about strength and technique. Kevan has never had technique, he always relies on quick brute force. Allston is pure technique like Larratt. The only arm wrestler with phenomenal strength and technique is Cyplenkov. The one with the greatest strength today is either Levan or Denis the one with the greatest technique is Larratt.
