@@tribalchief7909yea I’ll only watch Devon vs Levan again if Dev outweighs the wooley mammoth by at least 100lbs. I don’t even care if Dev is 80 years old.
I agree but next time devon knows he either builds his entire upper body for brute power by training like a body builder otherwise theres no chance without huge power gains.. Power gains come from lifting heavy abd heavier
i felt like the issue was that he came in too light. if he was the same weight he was against mmt but he kept the strength and endurance he had against levan then he would have had a good shot.
I think we all know Devon would love to challenge Levan again, but he has recognized that this was probably his best shot at it, and from here on, with age and Levan possibly getting even stronger its just not realistic. So he has accepted that beating him is probably not in the cards for him, sadly.
Exactly! I’m sick and tired of it. I didn’t buy the first match and I sure as hell didn’t buy the second match negate it was soooo painfully obvious that Devon would get destroyed.
It doesn’t make sense. Devon can’t get much stronger in armwrestling specific strength. I think that Devon has reached his absolute limit when it comes to armwrestling specific training. For him to keep getting better and stronger to gain another 10-15%. He would need to train like Levan but also hire like Stan Efferding to bump up the calories to gain quality mass. While keeping table time of course. But focusing on overall Raw power🔥 But we have not seen the best of Levan. He can also gain another 15% if not more.
I agree, Devon got as strong as possible at 265 pounds. Maybe Devon will add heavy biceps curls & heavy dumbbell bench press to his training. Maybe he will intake slightly more protein, omega 3 fat, electrolytes, water, stem cells & get as strong as possible while maintaining 275-279 pounds of muscle at age 50. If he feels decent while maintaining 275-279 pounds & reached peak strength at that weight, then maybe he can add slightly more muscle weight to get stronger.
Good point janjansen, everyone keeps saying Devon just needs to add 60 lbs of muscle to compete. This is effectively asking the man at his age to embark on an insane ped regime that will take his life. I hope he’s not going to make that sacrifice, dude should settle in at 115 and enjoy remaining competitive at that while continuing to encourage the next generation.
Levan Is His only "competition"? You can't call It His competition if he can't make It competitive against Levan. I think Levan sees Devon as a practice pull 😂
I can see it being feasible only under these circumstances. As Levan approaches and passes 40 there is a chance he may want to reduce his weight and ped usage so he doesn’t run into heart issues or other health problems. I would still see him as a big favorite even if he cut to say 330-340 because I’m not sure he would lose that much strength and his endurance would likely get even better, he’s also always improving technique wise. And i believe a 53-54 year old Devon, while still very strong, would be on the decline. But that’s the only scenario I see another match happening
There is much greater possibility Morozov, Vital Laletin, Zaur to become stronger and win against Levan, rather Devon to improve his top form which he reached this year!
I think Devon will face Levan again, but the problem remains the same, different weight class, the only way I see it "fair" is if Levan cuts some weight and Devon increases his to make it an even match, because otherwise it's going to be the same outcome over and over again.
how cool would it be if levan would just lose weight now and try to get the belts in all weight categories himself? he could show that he doesn't just rely on his 180kgs and tons of steroids and whatever but that hes actually the best armwrestler ever
I think, or at least I hope, by the time Devon would have run out of opponents there would be some other super heavy weight challengers fit for a match with Levan.
Yeah if devon done to Wash the 105Category and the 115 category. And no One to face. And Devon go Up again to Superheavyweight again and Beat The Top guys and then The Levan Rematch Trilogy
Devon doing levan’s training wouldn’t help IMO. Levan is just too genetically gifted. Hes simply too big and strong. Hes 400 lbs lol. Devon in peak shape was 260. That is an INSANE gap. Thats like a 250 pulling aginst someone who is 110 lbs lol
Levon used to weigh 175 lbs. He takes as much rounds as a 1200 lbs horse would. Doesn't have much to do with genetics, more to do with how much roids and the like you can take without dying.
Devon really missed out on all these years that he could be training the rest of his body. Imagine a Devon with all his current strength, but stronger pecs, triceps, lats, core, etc... The amount of force he could exert and resist would be disgusting, and he would probably be sitting 20-30lbs heavier on just lean muscle mass alone. Wasted potential imo.
Imagine Ermes vs Levan rematch happens and somehow Ermes beats Levan then Devon sees this as an opportunity to get the SHW belt back an calls out Ermes and ofcourse Ermes will accept because who doesnt want to pull with Devon and avenge his loss to Devon and then Devon somehow beats Ermes again 😂
Devon has a higher limit, but is it worth the strain on his health/body at his age eh probably not, calorie intake, drugs, at least 330lbs to contend with Levan plus strength training that has to reach very high limits....
He could in one year. Devon needs to increase his body weight to 140kg by eating a lot of healthy food and by just training bruth strength. Not much sparing because he already have that within him 💪
Why would anyone want to see Devon getting destroyed a third time? If Devon got destroyed by Levan coming off huge inactivity and injury then Devon doesnt have any chances not now nor never. I have never seen people interested in a third match when the first were that one sided.
@@shannonlewis3687 but we all know Devon Will NEVER beat Levan. O would Give It to you if It could become somewhat of a close match, but if we know what the result Will be and we already saw the result two times, why bother?
Well, we all know including levan thats exactly what's going to happen. Devon will destroy everyone at 105 kg - 115 kg Then he will come back to super heavyweight He will face genadi and probably Morozov and vitaly. And there is a chance he wins and has to face levan again.
Waste of time if he does. Not safe for him to put on the necessary weight, and Devon knows it, which is why he tried stem cells over steroids this time.
It doesnt matter now. Even if devon comes back again n again he cant defeat levan. Not even in his wildest dreams. We should talk about someone else now better arm wrestlers who can atleast challenge levan. Devon is now done. Change of topic is needed.
Devon will never forget the spanking from Levan. simply because with all his experience/ego/mind games/strength he still was spanked like his a noob and didn’t even put a challenge to Levan i willremain in his mind forever and more so to his fan girls as well.
@@KingSpartan95 yes right. only if he can push his Limits to increase weight using steroids or some thing else, he can challenge him. if he doesn't pushes his limit, then his name will not be 'no limits Devon larratt'. haha
Devon needs 1 year training in power lifting to gain real over all upper body power otherwise its pointless... His back pressure is no where near good enough to handle levon. Ermes has a way better chance at levon than devon 😮
The reason Devon was doing all the ketamine micro-dosing before the Levan match, was to mentally and spiritually prepare himself for another tough loss. I doubt Devon will wanna pull Levan again. He knows the mountain is too tall to climb
It’ll never happen…Devon beating Levan. NEVER. According to you all and Devon this was his absolute best version EVER…. And he still got absolutely destroyed like a little child by Levan. It will NEVER happen. Can we please stop freaking talking about this. I’m sick and tired of it and I don’t want to keep hearing; for another 3 years, about just wait till Devon gains more weight and he’s better than he was. Just stop. Freaking stop. Face the facts. Devon will never get heavier than 287 pounds. He’s already said he doesn’t want to. In the physical world we live in with these facts, Devon will NEVER stand a chance against Levan.
