That's not really the definition of a man. If you agree to a fight, and just before the fight you realise you're not strong enough, you go and lose like a man. No excuses. If athletes cancelled and postponed every time they thought they might not be strong enough to win, we would have almost no fights. This is ridiculous!
My mother had also a hip-joint problem and she couldn't even walk anymore. After that, the hip was replace... then no problem. I wish you the best Denis, come back stronger :)
DUDE!!!! Brian is strong as hell, but a 700 lb dip on a machine with a fulcrum is nowhere near as hard a 700lb dip. it's not the same. it's like a hammer strength machine vs a barbell bench press. the hammer strength machine will allow you to lift much more weight.
Being a strongman is much more than just being able to bench press weights. If you put levan in a strongman competition against Shaw there would be no competition,Shaw would destroy levan in everything.
Brian can be as strong in the strength lifts as he can possibly get but still will not move Levans arm...Levans arm wrestling muscles are waayyyy to strong rt now. His overall strength lifts only compliment them.
I don't understand why he wants to START taking on the top 5 guys. After what I saw vs Devon, he should just focus on training and look at some opponents more on his current level not his level from from 2017
It pains me to say because denis is my favorite and who introduced me to arm wrestling, But it may be time to retire and worry about his health. He already defeated the odds with the stroke or whatever he had years ago to come back and pull. He’s got nothing to prove at this point, But i think his prime is long gone.
Going under the table is absolutely righteously forbidden. Cause it's BS and not armwrestling. It's not about Devon and Levan. No one should ever be allowed to do such sh*t. Every sport has rules for a reason.
I think if we are being honest... the reaoson things go sourh is because we stop doing any activities like we used to do in our 20's. Stop playing sports etc
Levan pulled Lasha Talakhadze, who is a strongest Olympic weightlifter in the sport's history (totaling 495 kg), and defeated him quite easily... I am pretty sure Levan will beat Brian the same way.
I'd love to see a part 3 devon and levan. Only bc for me, no one else vs levan sounds interesting, except eventually Denis. I think if anyone right now has a chance to beat levan, it's devon. He needs more size. Does that mean that's all he needs to do to win? No. But if anyone could pull off an upset, I think devon could. Too bad Devon isn't at least 10yrs younger
At Strongest Man on Earth. Brian won the bench portion of the contest, and his standing press was in excess of 700lbs. If Brian loses to Levan, it will not be because Levan has a bigger bench, which is highly questionable. It will be technique
Vitaly really doesn’t lack bodyweight, he’s 140ish kg! However, he has very long leverages, meaning that his elbow flexion and extension (back pressure and press) are limited. For this reason, Vitaly should press with a cup wrist as he did in the AMC tournament. He tried to flop wrist press Ermes instead, and he failed.
I’m wondering if Brian has any injuries? He’s 42 & been in Strongman a long time & surely must have some niggling injuries? Levan at 35 will be fresher. But I’m very interested to see how big Brian progresses.
