@@RAGE-OF-SPARTA-X random input but I feel like a ton of fights in the 2018 game were like this if you master something in a boss fight the boss or freya in this case pulls some random BS in the worst possible situation at the worst possible time. The musspelheim Valkyrie was a prime example for me she would always tend to dish out moves that would do half if not more of my health in the worst possible scenarios

(don't mind me responding to a month old comment) I beat Harðrefill the Callous and Hjalti the Stolid, but i still can't beat Frækni, and all in Give Me God Of War, which is just nuts
The “no upgrade” designs will always be my favorite because of how realistic they are. I wish Transmogrification was in this game like how Ragnarok did.
I kinda want to challenge myself to fight Baldur zero upgrades, in weapons, skills and armor, standard armor, fists only and GMGOW+. What do y’all think?
@@valdoras10-11 Here are the steps : 1. First you need to finish the game to unlock new game plus. 2. After you unlock the new game plus, start a SIMPLE NEW GAME not a NEW GAME PLUS. 3. After you've started a new game, you'll go into the options menu (not the main menu), and you'll see a "Start new game +". 4. You press that option, and the game will start a new game plus for you. 5. Play until you get to that part where Brok has to upgrade it for you, the game won't force you to upgrade the axe to level 2, and instead it let's you keep it on level 1, and let's you continue the game with it. And this is how you do it. Just note the things below : - You will have 0 hacksilver - You will aquire the blades of chaos at the middle of the game. - You can buy/craft armor that is available for NG+ to get stronger. (I recommend the Ares armor because I killed all the Valkyries with it except Sigrun because she's still the hardest boss). - The axe skills for level 2, and higher will be locked unless you upgrade the axe. But you can still buy some skills that are for the level 1 axe such as the skill that lets you do finishers with the axe.

@@ArdiMulaj anytime friend, if you have any more questions about level 1 no upgrade gameplay feel free to ask. I will advise, it is extremely difficult to get through the regular enemies at level 1 with no upgrades, if you just want to do the boss fights level 1 with no upgrades, the best way would be to get KG’s save editor, add the zeus armor plus other level 9 gear to your inventory and use that for the regular fights, when you get to the boss fights, unequip the high level gear and reequip the default gear and you’ll be good to go.

I still think gow 18 is better than gow r bc the armor while going from gow3 directly into it was a little weird at first it was preferred to just regular preset armor that wasn’t very customizable and the overhead heavy axe swing was way better and the story pacing was a bit better in my opinion

Boy listen close There is a player called rage of sparta He made a deal to beat all the bosses at level 1 highest difficulty He beat all the valkyries and berserkers without armor He killed Sigrun Berserker and Gna the same way .
I still don't know how you did not upgraded the axe because the game makes you. And you cannot start NG+ without completing the game. I wanna try this out, can you plz tell me how you did not upgrade the axe?
If you play the once you can unlock new game+ and then you start a new game then save before the upgrade then start new game+ and you don’t have to do it.

@@rk900prototype9 you know what was annoying me the fact that kratos has basically no hand to hand combat moves or combos even 2018 had some combos and moves they could have just imported that and along with kratos’s design kind of a bummer
Is this a mod? Since the axe should’ve been automatically upgraded a few lvls with each encounter with broke and Sindri and if that’s a ng+ then the axe shouldn’t have stayed in that lvl 1 appearance
@@allysson_ i used a mod that gave me the zeus armor at the start, i used it for all of the non boss enemies. It’s literally impossible to get through the game level 1 on GMGOW+.
This is a run on the easiest difficulty and not even NG+ and I’ll tell you exactly why. I’ve tried doing a level one run on GMGOWNG+ and you’re not able to block at all, only dodge. I’m very experienced at the game and am not joking. Plus, on the GMGOW difficulty, you do not start with executioner’s cleave, but on the easiest difficulty you do.
Firstly, i showcase the difficulty at the end, if you watched you would have seen it. Secondly, I didn’t play through the main story with the level 1 gear, i used the Zeus armor which i built in prior play throughs, i did not upgrade the weapons and put the default level 1 gear back on for this fight to lower my level back to the default level 1. Thirdly, if you were “very experienced at the game” you would know that Baldur only used fire attacks during his 2nd phase like at 10:52 on NG+.
