@@benwood270 six years later, and still wrong, things like multi hitting moves, mold breaker, moves that ignore abilities (photon geyser, sunsteel strike, etc), flinch moves (fake out for example)

Neiamenase If magnemite leveled up it would've had more than 11hp meaning that the oran berry wouldn't heal it completely. Sturdy wouldn't be activated and it would faint immediately
Fake Jacob if u played pokemo. U would know any Pokemon can learn toxic exept ditto smeargle and magikarp and maybe used stat boosting medicine (kids these days)
But it didn’t make it harder for him, that actually is the reason why he won. Lvl 1 magnemite has 11 max hp, so after eating the berry and getting those 10 hp it's back at full health and so sturdy is usable again. If it would've lvld up the max hp would be more than 11 hp, so the berry would not restore full heath, meaning sturdy would not work and rip magnemite. That cheat was actually key for that victory.
Normally people are using hacks for no XP gain so they can say they did this with only lvl. 1 pokemon, in this case this hack actually affect that you can gain 10 hp from oran berry and "recycle" it to get to full HP and be able to use sturdy again. So in this case you really cheated and you can probably use hack for not getting dmg at all :) I mean it's great idea and everything, but its cheap;)
What did he say is without hax magnemite would have been at a higher level, therefore magnemite should have more than 11hp. Then, the oran berry (which only heal 10hp) couldn't heal him to the maximum. And because of not being at full life, Magnemite's sturdy is not triggered. Without hax, this way is impossible to use. @@Blade.5786 3 years old, but, the whole strategy relies on having the Magnemite auto heal itself with the berry before it can die to pull off a toxic/swagger then spam recycle

wet wipes Dragon Tail has negative priority, allowing Magnemite to move first. I don't think he moved first any other time, which is why he was able to use Recycle so effectively.
