as someone who faced this team and barely beat it (not in this vid it was a diff trainer) I can tell you this team is frustrating to face.

I Remember the first guy, I swept him with reversal blaziken and he started yelling at me.

Honestly, if you just get magic guard, you can destroy the stall strat. The strat relies on indirect attacks (leech seed, toxic, spikes, etc), and Magic guard blocks all of those, so you can pretty much just blast through them. The only one it won't work on is endeavor-quick attack.

Honestly I could see kyurem as one of the scariest mons to face for fear teams, since it has teravolt and can set up hail in dynamax, the other being excadrill with mold breaker and setting up sandstorm, while being immune to toxic

Stealth Rocks and hazards will just completely destroy your team. I would recommend using this Solosis set: Solosis @ Focus Sash Ability: Magic Guard Level: 1 EVs: 236 SpA IVs: 0 Atk - Trick Room - Endeavor - Magic Coat - Toxic Due to Magic Guard, Solosis takes no damage from entry hazards. It sets up Trick Room and uses endeavor to leave something on 1 HP, so a rapid spinner (like Pineco) can remove the rocks and take the KO. Toxic and Magic Coat is generally useful. Also Taunt on Whimsicott may be better incase they use taunt

I started using a skill link cinccino specifically for sash/sturdy/substitute teams. Works pretty well against Lv1 Pokémon too.

every time I see one of these videos with a team like this, my brain goes "ok, every team needs to have access to hail, sandstorm, at least 3 multihit moves, rapid spin and defog, toxic and burn, and then I'd be able to maybe, hopefully work around this"

I remember fighting a few teams like this in Gen7 Ubers. I was new to the 'competitive' scene and didn't realise the tier was for big legendaries. Then there's my team of (Ash) Greninja, Aegislash, Garchomp, Espeon, (Mega) Blazakin and last Alonan Ninetales vs all the big bad legends. I lost a lot and won a few. Now when I first saw a team like this I was like "what is this guy/girl planning?" And over-confidentally(?) sent out Blazaken to setup and well Blazaken fainted without getting a proper shot and I just forfeited. Next time I saw a team like this, I immediately sent out my Ninetales to setup Hail and immediately switched to Espeon (it had magic bounce) so it bounced back everything toxic etc although it fainted to endeavour and priority and the hail was also almost gone. Sent out Ninetales once the hail was gone to reset it then just went into my last resort to beating this team Greninja with water shuriken and won the the match as the other guy/girl forfeited. Idk if this a sure way to beat this kind of team but it worked.

The thing to note here folks is that Ubers and other tiers like OU play very different. In OU his team would die fast due to the overabundance of entry hazards and more prominent usage of status, both of which are things not often used in Uber thanks to the much higher power level of most of the tier's inhabitants. Stealth Rocks/Spikes and Scald are all it takes to end that team quick
