Level 10 Archmage Against 6 Gryphon Aviaries WTF (Game played on 6-April-2023) Catch me live all days of the week at: / grubby Join my Discord! / discord #Grubby #WC3
I’m not sure why, but I want to see a challenge where Grubby manages to strip the land of all it’s trees. Then somehow take advantage of his opponents inability to get any more lumber.
I saw Happy try to eliminate trees around opps base as HU solo Bloodmage. It was very tedious and inefficient, but the opp orc has lacked wood for nessesities at times. However that orc has built several proxy lumber mills throughout the game, so that still didnt work that well.
I've had that idea as well, it really seems impossible though. Unlike expansions for gold, "expansions" for lumber could be literally anywhere on the map. A lumber mill / war mill anywhere on the map and a few workers / a shredder and you're back in business. Night elf obviously just needs to send the wisp. Against UD it might have the best chance, because they'd need blight to build a graveyard. That's still done easily enough though.
Please Grubby: 1. Start NE; 2. Build tree near enemy base; 3. Start eating all the forest that aren't on your enemy sight; 4. Enjoy once he realizes there's no wood anymore. 😂
That's stupid. Lol. By the time you eat every tree the game will be long over already hahaha.. if necessary they will just buy goblin shredder and build war mil/graveyard etc somewhere else and just mine there instead.
I did a game like this back in the early 2000s in a 2v2 match except I used Siege Tanks. Used invis on a single unit and ran it next to their Castle. I completely wiped out their castle before they could even teleport to it then the rest of the main base. One of my favorite games.
Grubby, there was a (in)famous game between HuK and Idra in SC2 where HuK made a bunch of hallucinated voidrays right before the final confrontation, and even though Idra had a bigger army and actually countered HuK's, he saw the number of (fake) voidrays and promptly quit the game. If you haven't seen it you really should check it out, I think it matches your description of "high level deception" because Huk was playing psy op the entire series to take advantage of the fact that Idra was well known to be highly emotional in his gameplay.
Wow I never knew that fast build trick and I've played war3 since ROC. Lol. I think most players have no clue about this, even long time players and pros. Not sure if even happy or Lyn etc would know about this. Maybe ToD or moon would know since ToD is HU and moon is just moon and knows every little trick like grubby haha.
I'm not a wc3 player, but assume that opponent make 7 air factories not to produce air units non stop, but to produce simultaneously 7 at time. And 7 is usually his attack party size
Recently i played a game, in which my team (4v4) went for mass air, the enemy went for wyvs, hippo, dragonhawks and faeries dragons en masse. The only thing that has beaten them were a few casters and 2 teams full of fully upgraded Gyrocopters in combination with Dagren the Orcslayer and InnerFire and both speed auras (DK-unholy and TC-Endurance). Too bad i have no replay, but I killed 300+ units and had AM level 10, BM level 9 and Paladin level 9. A good initiation is everything ...
The power-buidl exploit looks like a very similar bug to the Demon Hunter blip-Immolation exploit (which didn't use much Mana in a PTR that got rid of the initial Activision cost for Immolation).
In Starcraft 2 workers "mineral walk" through units when gathering resources. Does this also happen in WC3? I was wondering if invis units can be an obstacle between the Town Hall and the Gold Mine to reduce mining efficiency. Or maybe just pain old visible critters.
@@nirodper . . . And they become impenetrable to Wind Walking Blademaster (yet another WarCraft III bug . . . unless something was stealth-patched recently to fix it).
Honestly. Although I love your opening commentary is great. The first couple min are so boring to watch. At least until the hero pops out. I like this that you brought us in after starting.
Use invisible critters to block the path to the mine and create an economic handicap for your opponent for as long as possible. make the workers have to go around your invisible critters to mine gold
I'd love to see the subest-ultimate build. Get upgrades you won't use, sell items you will use, buy items you won't use, get units that are countered by what your enemy has, and try to win. Then use the name of the challenge to get all the subs, which are well deserved.
If you right click with lots of peasants and constantly click and press s for stop it will still give you the powerbuild boost but due to the immediate stop it will happen before the game actually calculates the extended costs. As he said: it’s been there for ages but due to being really time consuming it’s quite less used
dota is an overrated, fan made mod for wc3. It got a lot of attention from autistic people and the lgbtq+ community. It's hardly even worth mentioning tbh. Many many good wc3 mods are now dead like that one.
