Great video, thanks for all the work on it. I just started playing over the weekend for the first time. My character is around level 23, I think I have messed up bouncing around on what weapon I want to use. Would you recommend that I restart and focus on 2 weapons as I level, to max out those weapons, or will I be ok continuing on with this character as is? I am currently focusing on hatchet and bow for the leveling process but I doubt those will be the weapons I use at max level.

I've been rocking an S&S DPS build now and I'm really into it, I noticed you use a lot of the shield attacks, is it possible to post your build? I'm interested to see if you're using the aggro perks. I always thought getting aggro with light gear on isn't that great. Also, great guide ^^
I am solo healer with Life Staff/Void gauntlet and I like crafting. What should I get to level 200 first - Armoring or Arcane? And can you give me general tips about trade skills post level 60 and how to work on it alongside expertise? This is a good video. Looking forward to your answer!
Hey! Thanks for watching! I would prioritize armoring over the other trade skills. There's quite a few good weapon drops available, but not near as many armor pieces that drop. Leveling the trade skills can be very expensive. I would recommend working on expertise first and then working on trade skills. However, if you want to do them in tandem you could gather as you work on your expertise to help save some gold when you start the push for leveling the trade.

@@JuanGonzalez-ub4ub Thanks!! No it's not a must. The most important aspect of mutations is making sure your gear score is the right level for the mutation that you're running.
If this helps anyone I get my emerald gypsum (aptitude levels) from skinning the scorpions at the acropolis in brimstone, they each give over 2k xp, are abundant, easy to kill and respawn quick.
There’s a few different options. I have an upcoming video that will go over it, but expeditions, some open world mobs that you can farm, and buying decent items from the trade post are a good start!
It doesn't have to be equipped gear. You can get random bumps on any gear when looting chests etc. So for example, if you loot an elite chest and get a great axe you could get an expertise bump for that weapon even though you don't have one equipped.

You gotta get weird potions and stuff just to do endgame. Im so confused. I wish you could just play content and get gear. This system is super confusing.
Great guide, but I hate this system so much. It's so redundant, so boring, and such a predatory time sink. Would much rather just have to hit 60 and everything be RNG from there. That way you could just go out and do what you want and always have a chance at getting something meaningful/useful. I mean they're trying with the 590 named stuff, and that's been great... But it still falls short because of the stupid watermarking preventing legendary drops. They have got to figure out how to make this stuff fun and exciting and and not locked behind a redundant tedious grind wall. Right now, this whole gear score leveling is about as fun as driving nails into the wall with my forehead. Especially if you want to PVP. Nothing screams waste of time like chasing a train of people around clicking chests for hours on end, or running Genesis first boss 25 times a day so you can even be competitive in PVP. Or spending copious amount of hours and money building up a crafting skill for it to be practically useless at the end without spending astronomical sums of money for a chance of crafting something decent. This games is not geared towards people who have lives outside of gaming with limited time to play who want to unwind doing stuff enjoyable. It will be its undoing in the long run, again.
100% agree here. Not many games i can think of where you reach level cap and now you have to grind even more to eek out the extra 10%. i looked at Steam totals there is a reason lost ARK has 6 figure players on, NW about 1/2 to 1/3 of the total. FUN vs Now what the hell do i have to do next...
