I think Innards ending is so abruptly because there was a second part after it but its creator gave up on it (i dont remember clearly but something like that happened)
Little thing you missed in Night Life: The "Monochrome" robot section actually pulses different colors that are based off your player colors. The colors aren't your player colors all the time though, Some pulses contain hue changes to switch up the colors (You can watch Crohn44's video and see what I mean). Just thought I should point that out :^) Great video!
I think the best part about this list is that none of them have super fucking high detail backgrounds and designs. They all just told a story, the levels talked to you in a way. Making what you see in the song instead of just throwing glow and shit everywhere will make your level so much more appealing and memorable. We need more levels like these
Thanks for featuring IC. I’m good friends with tricks so it always bothered me that the level is pretty overlooked. I honestly think it’s rate worthy on the 2.1 server.
Epic video dude. I love infected caverns tbh, probably one of the best 1.9 themed levels ever, it’s so unique. I hope it gets rated soon! I also love all the other levels on this list also, great choices!
it’s kinda amazing that you can see beauty in levels that most people couldn’t really pick up on also killbot IS fun to play, making it an even better extreme it already is
Im honestly amazed by how greatly you can express your thoughts and feelings about the levels, great series; keep it up :V About killbot: i think people tend to hate it mainly because its a memory demon or it was published by Lithifusion. In my opinion its a really great level with an intense atmosphere. Ive always enjoyed getting sucked in my that intensity build together with song and fitting gameplay.
good video. imo kaito para and lithi has made better levels, namely speedrun, cold sweat and requiem, but thats my opinion and i understand why you chose the levels you did. other than that there was very little critique to the levels. looking forward to your next level spotlight video. good job :)
Night Life is so good!! Truly a level that needed more recognition. Innards looks kind of strange to me. It's a little bit messy, but it gets better as the level progresses. Black Blizzard is incredible. Infected Caverns is very nice. I like it a lot too. Killbot is meh for me. The gameplay looks extremely annoying and a little bit too much Cluttered. Ngl the end part is quite good.
LET'S GOO BEST SERIES Kinda disagree with innards, infected caverns, and killbot tho tbh. I see what the levels are trying to acomplish, don't get me wrong, but for me they just look too ugly to get that feeling across. I feel like all three levels would've worked way better if they looked better, but other than that they're still cool. I guess it just comes down to the person...
Hey i know I'm unbelievably late but I hope you read this as it's a very important note about killbot, as a matter of fact it is not an original level, it is heavily inspired and ripped off by chaotic machine which you can find videos of on RU-vid. The gameplay is unbelievably similar and the decoration albeit messy was clearly a huge inspiration for killbot, I just thought you should know this, it is also rated insane demon ingame. Chaotic machine was also inspired by ditched machine btw so killbot wouldn't exist without it
Black blizzard was actually krmals hardest. He has commented that he only promised that it was going to be his hardest, but people said it was going to be the hardest level in the game. He said he would’ve nerfed it regardless of what happened. Great video, not trying to criticize you, just trying to inform you.
it’s a great level! i didn’t want to include it in this one cause i already had killbot in it but expect it in a future episode, i’ve been planning on putting it in one at some point :p
I actually really like cold sweat and think it also has a good creepy theme that really fits with the song, also I agree with the infected caverns being really good for 1.9, as i literally thought it was made in 1.9 and just verified now lol. Also i agree with killbot being really good and probably one of the best memory demons, in my opinion its not even the deco or anything, just the intense song fitting with extreme memory gameplay. I want to beat it but im a bad player and i dont feel like putting myself through THAT gameplay lol
I disagree with killbot because if you look closely it's actually very lazy and a lot of sections use blinding effects as an excuse to copy-paste effortless blocks
