And now Heliopolis is a contender for top 1 demon 2025 and Avernus is in the top 3 with acheron, LIMBO, and AoD being the most accurate placements when compared to the modern demon list
imo the ILL is super boring. Every level has that one part that they just have going on for way too long, with the most boring deco that I can't even see because it goes dark every 2 seconds. Creators have absolutely no limitations, and they do this?
37:37 as i was watching this, i realized that they're not circles, they're question marks, and i thought that was just absolutely the cherry on top of this part
Great video tbh. Of course, general good gp is great, but I’m glad to know someone actually remembers that gp have our own styles and good gp isn’t only quality but its own uniqueness I may be 4 years late
small update: eternal night is probably dead, pro hi is in limbo once again and idek what happened w death corridor, galaxy collapse is missing, aerial gleam is ploppy, Amaterasu got canceled (thank god) also very funny to look back at aod being overrated to all hell on earth lollll
10:20 every time something that sounds stupid today is said i’ll add a timestamp 13:12 15:25 18:18 22:25 25:58 26:00 27:18 28:02 29:15 30:07 33:38 41:13 42:10 43:10
The levels are boring as fuck, the gameplay is not revolutionary, it’s a blue orb following a wave with a sideways camera trigger, nothing cool, these levels are effortless in gameplay AND they steal assets (without permission) they shouldn’t get rated
what infuriates me more is how nobody even knows the origins of these line levels. they are VERY clearly inspired by the now deleted mobile game; dancing line. similar to these line levels, though predating them, is a game where you have to tap the screen for a long line to switch direction. I am disappointed that nobody knows about this yet since that deleted mobile game has been my childhood
So you're saying reusing assets from other levels is fine as long as permission is given by the original creator which isn't really that much different from what's generally accepted anyway tbh
whenever a new trend starts in the gd community or someone that doesn't have 5 million creator points decides to touch the editor, instantly harrassed and doxxed.
Dude, there are like 5 of these levels lmao, It’s not stealing, its literally giving credit to the level by having most of it in the name, stop crying about this, or at least calm the hell down with this video
???????? i literally said it’s not stealing and it gives credit and absolutely argued there is nothing wrong with these levels, thanks for proving you didn’t watch the video LMFAO
in my personal opinion there shouldn't be any copy/pasting from other people's levels at all in rated levels. this is different to having inspired deco or a level remake. you can still pay tribute to other levels without copy/pasting from it.
