BDS has designed a way to not only level out the front of the 2011 and newer 3/4- and 1-ton GM HD trucks, but get them a 1/2-ton like ride quality. It might not be the cheapest way to level your truck, but it may be the best.

Drove a truck with this kit on it, absolutely loved it. Just got it for my truck today. It’s well worth the money.

I love this kit and I love the idea of improving the ride. Recently purchased some 22x12 American forces on some 305/45r22 Nitto 420s. Been bouncing around the idea of a cognito leveling kit or a bds 4.5 kit turned down to be able to run my wheel and tire setup on my 2013 Denali HD Duramax. Im definitely going to purchase this kit due to the ability to achieve the needed height and travel to clear my new setup, and I'm sure the ride will be night and day. Awesome video and im looking forward to getting this on my truck!

How is it driving on 22’s? Have you tried running over curbs or going off a light trail?

I think it's funny you call torsion bars "archaic" when a coil spring is literally the exact same technology. Both use a piece of spring steel that is deflected under load. I am curious how you get the additional travel and softer ride though. I assume a big part of the travel is done with the new control arms. And the softer ride...a softer spring rate with more preload? Softer torsion bars are available for these trucks. I'd love to see a comparison between this kit and simply upgrading the shocks/torsion bars.

How much trimming was needed?

The truck already had some minor inner fender trimming done (behind the front bumper) when it showed up to the shop. No additional trimming was needed.
